New Grower Thiers a Hairyman in the cupboard/SourCrack/TyroneSpecial

Once you get your ph to where it should be,they will be right.
Have you looked into powdered oyster shell,i believe it works quicker than dolomite of lime?

Don't think i will be able to get that in town or pound-land :), thinks i will have to tuck that bit of info away for next time pal, just looked on amazon but by the time i get it will be in final straight really, saw ya girls that you uploaded looking sweet pal, hows the drip system going?

They look very good Hairy, fat buds coming! I start to drool everytime I see that resin!

Looking good friend ! Shame about the PH issue.... there's always something eh? I'm so lucky, my tap water comes out at 6.5. To look at your girls, they all seem to be in good shape. Nice big green fans. Cheers to a nice, big, strong finish !

Is strange that one mate, my water is 7.1 after leaving it out and the nutes near the same, have never tested the PH after adding nutes as i only have a liquid test kit, but the runoff is just about spot on. Got me thinking maybe the soil is the difference, might be worth trying the biobizz light mix next time round, maybe something in there that is buffering the PH better.

Hi Pal,i wish i had got the biobizz soil now,or perhaps the terra-pro, that has lime added, i will be able to manage it better next grow till i use it up, even thinking of reusing it ,adding fish blood bone and such, anyways so the water is 7.2 and on the last feed i added 1.5 grow and 3.5 bloom and 1.cal/mag and it dropped to 5,6 the water that is before i adjust it up for each plant going off what i got from last run off,(lol ille never admit how low i worked Sersi soil to be ,but it was Lowww) its a guessing game really until i get a soil meter anyways, but its going in right direction, just gotta nurse them through the next few weeks, and then its a fresh start :)

Yeah seems like something in or not in that standard terra mix that makes the PH drop over time. Reusing it dont seem a bad way to go, gonna give you a nice base for a super mix and let you know exactly whats in it, if i had the space would be giving it a go myself, but for now am happy with the light mix and the last 50L bag i got gonna last a while but my own soil is something i would love to try when my situation allows it.

edit: just noticed i made a typo in my older post meant to say "my water is 7.1 after leaving it out and our nutes near the same" not that the water was 7.1 and so were the nutes which is how it was reading.

Looking good hairy!

for certain theres something in lightmix to keep ph in check.

I've grown with lightmix for the last 10 years pretty much, I never once checked ph in England, and have only checked once here in almost 3 years..out of curiosity.

I still start all my auto's in lightmix, but it's also the re-cycled base for what they get transplanted in to.

we are hoping to go the way of supersoil or by using biotabs to feed only plain water for the duration of the lifecycle. That's the aim anyway :)

Thanks Mitch, youve bred some strong girls going off the pain I've put them through the last few weeks, the buds on the sour crack are like rock allready,
A supersoil mix would be great, especially for yourselfs considering the amount of plants you deal with and how much easier it would be just to be able to water only, saying that I would like it also, I ain't one for this mad scientist mixing up the feeds lark

Looking forward to growing more of your strains, and hopefully getting better every grow, thanks for stopping by pal
