Finally, my first little girl popped up sometime last night!
It's the Barney LSD, hopefully everyone else will wake up today!
I have my window sealed up so I won't be lightning up the neighborhood (I really struggled last night with the tape), but managed not to cut myself with the scissors and utility knife
The lsd has a really odd looking leaf, I hope that isn't a sign of things to come.
I finally got the stuff to use my meters, so today I'll be playing mad scientist. I tried the tds pen already and it said 310, hopefully that is a good thing, I'll have to look it up.
So I used both my tds meter and the test strips today and I have some hard water to deal with. The strip color put it in the 300ppm range, and the pen was back and forth between 308 and 310.
ph is 5.8.
After chatting with some very smart people here, my plan is to put in a water softener for the house, and a small ro system at the well to water the girls and for the garden I need to get busy building.
Just an fyi, I learned today to never use softened water for plants, the extra salt content will build up in the soil and on the roots.
Until I get a game plan, the girls will be sipping bottled water
Spoiled at such a young age!
I'll call it day seven for the ladies. The lsd is a little lanky, but my little fan is giving her one heck of a workout
I'm using straight bottled water for now, and it tested at 90 ppm, much better than 310!
I'm not sure why, but my filtered water from the fridge tastes better than the tap but the meter shows 345 ppm, so even higher than the tap
Good start @rosa - looking good. I love that Glueberry, twas one of the first autos I grew (very badly I must add), the flavours and the high were just the job!
Have fun
