Mephisto Genetics The On-going Mephisto farm thread!

sorry bud, missed your comment.
We are in it for the longterm at our location, developing the indoor and outdoor all the time!
I'm looking forward to 2015 outdoor already :)

We are switching to moveable beds indoor now in our main rooms and going to run recycled ammended soil and automated watering on a 2 light perpetual flowering cycle :)

Hey guys, bit of a throwback! we found a pen drive with some photos from last year.. funnily enough in the days +/- now.

Nothing much otherwise to report, but wanted to share.

Here's Jorge with one of our alien og cuts that was flowered with just a short veg.

Here's our little piglet, she's no longer with us sadly, but she was an advocate :)

Just busy my friend,

the f1 run of the 2016 strains is started.

running the livers to back cross the auto blues to,

then a seed run upstairs of some current strains to replenish stock

we are preparing to do some poly tunnels outside in the spring

then preparing a catalogue and bits and pieces ready for Spannabis in march

:)

wow George is the best!! I remember reading his high times columns.

what a grower!! George has to be one of the best growers in the world!

Hey mitch, what happened to the pig? Did you get hungry?

Hey man, no we were fine for store bought food :)
the piglets were runts we rescued from a farmer, they would have been killed no doubt.

there was boy and girl, the boy last a few weeks but he couldn't keep his food down, then there was a very cold spell and he died.

the girl was with us for over a year, she was a real character, we taught her several words, and seemingly although small was pretty healthy.
but one day in the early spring I went out to feed her and she was on her side in pain, we mashed down a couple of painkillers into water and she took that, and we also made a weed milk and she took a little of that too.
but she wouldn't eat any food, and for a pig... Not good.
we brought her inside for the night and put her on an armchair under a blanket and next to a heater.
i stayed with her until about 4am and before I went to bed it was looking like her nose was starting to react to food, but in the morning she was dead.
we buried her next to her brother.

sadtimes, we were really gutted.
Id love to get another and maybe a goat or two as well, but we are that busy with plant work and the company now, that it's probably better to wait.

Cheers mitch

Great read bro a lot of detailed info I'm truly impressed. Off to read another:kusht:

Hey guys, sorry it's been a long time in here! Our stuff kind of got spread around the other threads and neglected this one!

It's on going as always, We've been updating our rooms gradually, we also had a small fire which has led to some big improvements to take place indoors.
First time anything like that has ever happened, but we've gone over everything with a fine tooth comb.

The perpetual beds are being updated to have drip lines, but one bed at a time as each harvest takes place.

Now we're preparing goodies for Spannabis, We've been gradually tidying/sorting/clearing and prepping outdoor areas and today I've ordered 3x 6x3x2m polytunnels for our top plot. Depending on how we re-arrange them there could be space for a few more smaller ones there as well as some bigger ones on the lower plots.

We plan to exhaust them all and perhaps run dehumidifiers in them too, we'll see closer to the time.

Amongst the madness we managed to grab a short weekend in andorra for some skiing.

We were around 8000ft, I know it's pretty insignificant to you colorado fellows, but It cured my cold anyway.

Cheers!

That's gorgeous! So glad to hear you guys got a few days off and I can't wait to see all the new improvements and new additions! Best of luck with Spannabis and the upcoming outdoor season. All good things to you and the crew!
