Hey guys sorry for the delay,
Here's the final installment of our intro thread, now we have our own forum to play in, i'll get an on going farm journal started.
Outdoor:
The Greenhouses, looking greener each week
The logs covered with tarps are our soil stores where we recycle all our soil (should have a very nice stockpile for next spring)
Here's a peek into one greenhouse, some of these AF's got a little stunted through some crazy indoor heat (pre-A/C) but will make fine smoke all the same.
The ones started outside have been motoring along.
Here is an outdoor plot we have been gradually clearing for some photoperiods we have been vegging (and currently outgrowing) in a greenhouse. It's now getting some good daylight in there minus some trees.
Here's a pregnant with fem pollen AF from another batch in a greenhouse.
Indoor:
Here are some random photoperiod plant budshots from the current reg seedrun.
c99 - from bro's grimm stock
The white - harbouring 'the white train' seeds. The white x OG Ghost Train Haze
Highland Mexican - I love chimeras work
Random stuff -
The kief (pictured earlier in the thread) , which we acquire a lot of during the de-seeding process we really wanted to press.
So 10 minutes and using some wood laying around and a clamp, bingo we have a press.
Here are results from the press - Filling the press creates around a 30g square of hash. Been some trial and error involved but got the hang of it now.
The piece on the right was pressed with some added moisture only, the left piece was the last piece we did which the kief was heated and had moisture added.
In conclusion:
we are about 2.5 months away from the completion of our first year in Spain.
It's been tough, a lot of work.., but year two should be very promising as we get this place exactly how we want it.
I hope you guys have enjoyed the read, and we hope to keep generating a lot more content for everyone to see and follow our progress out here.
Cheers mitch and tim @ mephisto genetics.
I would personally like to thank here, Jorge Cervantes, Azad, Mossy here at AFN for being very welcoming. Tim for being brave and doing this adventure with me. And anyone that's been kind or i've helped or have learnt from along the way.
