The making of a FLO auto.

Day 61 or so.
You see they almost look finished. If not for the seeds in them they would almost be. I have been backing off the nutes with them
but still feeding. Yellowing N calmag and a hint of P on the tall diff. Not worried at this piont.
Seeds are coming along so slow it seems. Small plants loaded with seeds = slow seed growth.
My other plants will make seeds in 35-45 days if hit lightly.

The true keeper has the flo smell. Trics are little small but coverage is good.​

Larger trics that really stand up but coverage is not as heavy over the leaves.
smell is skunky a bit and sweet. Larger build. Not really what im after but shame to throw away.​

Dont worry this project is not dead! So I cut both plants tonight. This is the keeper. Smell is out of this world. So complex, grape, earth, floral and very strong.
Did pull out a few seeds a few days ago, 1 took 4 days to gem and the other planted took 6 using the paper towel method. The other 3 are cracking a bit but not much hope.
Hope for a good full auto F3 female to grow for personal consumption, and I may make a few p2f1 seeds on part of it.

You got it. Whats nuts is she grows like a Indica, short and stocky, and will have leaves just like an indica until into flower. Then more of the sativa leaf comes out.


DJ Short is truly a master grower. Love reading anything I can find from him.

Here is the 2 F3 Flo autos.

2 breeder pack Flo from DJ Short, 1 is a female clone in the back right, the other looks to be female closer in frame, is lighter in green color (some due to nutes but not all), more of a single stock sativa stock

Vegging under HPS, DJ short flo breeder pack again. looks to be male.​

All show purple in the stem and parts of the leaf.

The male has some branching

Call them 11 days old or so. So far going much the same. Size difference is environmental.
Both have the single first leaf then the 2nd set is a single with a side. Odd I have read about autos having 2 single leafs (this is not quite that) but never have seen it. The are wider then the first set.
