She (hopefully!) is growing in a GT205 which is a NFT table system with a 20L res and she has it all to herself. There's a few other plants under the 600W dual spectrum HPS with her, including another Dr. Feelgood which I'm running in Plant Magic soil.

Nutes and stuff....

Info for this one says 25 - 38cm and 30 -50g but I'm hoping it gets a wee bit bigger than that:smoking:

ok man, I'm on board; I'm doing SS Feelgood too, but I'm at least 1 week behind you.
me, soil and natural feeds; not going for a record by any means but will be real interested to see what you can coax out of this strain with your high-falutin set-up.
good luck dude.:greenthumb:

Welcome aboard bud:pass:

Hopefully won't be too much coaxing going on.....I just plant the seed and hope I learn stuff and end up with a nice pile of weed:smoking:

Been gradually working the EC up from 0.5 by adding a wee drop nutes each day.....not much.....a cap full or two between the 3 reservoirs I have going, some cool fresh water to lower res temp and some diluted pH down to keep the pH swings going (it's been between 5.7 and 6.3 mostly).

And my wee Dr.Feelgood in Plant Magic soil and their Oldtimer Bloom nutes:

I'd have re-potted her before now but I'm thinking over-watering caused the base of the stem to rot from the outside in and she keeled right over and seemed to be hanging by a thread so rather than risk transplant I covered the wound in soil and took it as a lesson in how to water plants. That was a couple of weeks ago and I'm now thinking she has recovered enough to transplant into a 20L pot.

The soil one is a couple of weeks older than the hydro one.....could be something like 3 weeks old for the hydro one and 5 for the soil one. Then again, my concept of time ain't the best:pass:

Whoa Kush , sounds like you had a narrow escape with stem rot. Lucky escape there (I am sure there was some skill involved).
I am assuming that you have some LST going on by the look of it. Probably needed a bit more ventilation, but you got over it, that's the main thing. Streets ahead of mine. You'll be sampling yours way before me, so I look forward to your smoke report.

Aye, I didn't have enough airflow as I had a fan fail and haven't been able to get a proper replacement yet......I've got a clip fan on one side of the room and a floor fan on the other but I think I need to go get a couple of decent size fans.

Sorry it's a crappy pic but this was just before I covered the wound in soil:

And whilst digging through shots I found this which shows more of my setup....this was when I took the humidity dome off and put the 3 hydro ones in their own NFT systems which you can see are part setup.

The water skooshing over the table was set that high to circulate the nutrient solution.....once the plants are in I turn the flow rate down pretty low. Having the flow rate too high, I guess, is a bit like trying to breath in gale force winds so I aim for high enough to make sure the NFT matting remains wet to the corners and there's water dripping off the end of the tray.

Hi Kush,
by the look of it, you were very fortunate to recover from that stem rot; makes me wonder if there was just enough functionality left in the stem to send out secondary roots above the rot,(but now below the new soil line).
two of my Dr.Fs are in the infirmary, the others are looking good; ones a triple.
yep, its amazing how much equipment you end up with. I am about to get a new ballast, with a re-strike feature as I don't like the idea of my HID cutting out due to a power outage (even a split second will do it) while I am away from home. I note that there are digital ballasts aplenty now; it wasn't so long ago that the recommendation was to stick with electronic. most of the AFN-ers seem to be going LED, but the prices are astronomical, so its cheaper to stick with the old technology for now.
anyway, keep up the good work.
later dude.

Aye bud, got lucky with the Dr. Feelgood in soil but I didn't pile soil over the wound on my other soil auto (Afghan Kush Ryder) which suffered the same stem rot issue and it's looking a bit limp and pale now. The Dr. Feelgood in soil did appear to be trying to send out roots above the wound so I reckon you're right that raising the soil line helped. Will try to remember to wash the roots off after harvest and see if that confirms it.

My light is just a cheapo old magnetic ballast.....only has an on/off switch and only takes 600W bulbs but my last couple of runs have been pretty close to 1.3gpw so I'm going to stick with it. Besides, LEDs look like they are hard work with training and/or fannying about with multiple lights needing frequent adjustment:jointman:

Don't think I'll see 4" of growth in a day with this strain but growth still seems to be accelerating with, hopefully, still at least a week of growth to go before things start slowing down.

I was hoping to get close to 1m (~40") but I have my doubts she'll reach that......fingers still crossed though lol:smoking:
