Sure! Gonna do it for 1/4oz of bud, but you can scale it however.
You need:
1/4oz dried bud, doesn’t have to be cured
2.5oz LIQUID coconut oil. Not liquid when warm, should be liquid even in the fridge.
A small mason jar w/ lid
A crock pot (or pot for simmering)
Some type of strainer. I use a metal mesh strainer with some type of cloth in it, a piece of a t shirt works fine.
First Decarb the buds. Grind em up roughly, ( I like to blend them finer actually, in a blender for a bit. Be sure to collect all the hash off the blender, esp the bottom rim) preheat the oven to 240f, and I like to leave it in almost an hour, until it smells more toasted than grassy. Uncovered, I put it on parchment paper for easy removal.
Put the oil into a small mason jar and scrape all the bud into it. Can be hot or cooled, doesn’t matter. Put mason jar in the slow cooker, fill water in the crock up to the liquid line in the jar. Put lid on jar loosely. Turn pot on low, I put the crock pot on a 4 hour analog timer, after that it turns off. I leave it in there overnight.
Strain it through cloth, medium squeeze at the end but not too much. Store it in the fridge for long term. I put smaller amounts in tiny bottles for so I don’t have to carry larger batches.
