Outdoor The^Dudes High Tunnel Grow 2020

Southern Ag Garden friendly fungicide, for PM control.

Ok to spray on buds? Help against bud rot at all?
Yes it is OMRI listed and is a biological. It might be useful against bud rot but I would not rely on it alone.

I alternate between powdered milk water mixture and a mixture of peroxide, tea tree oil, lavender oil, and dish soap. I spread baking soda around on the ground make sure when you defoliate you do not throw ur PM covered leafs anywhere in ur grow area I like to use a bucket and throw them in a plastic bag in the trash.... I have not found a good way to fully get rid of PM but the steps I mentioned are the ones I use to keep it under control until the finish line then I wash my flowers in water and H2O2 mixture and rinse with plain water to make sure Im getting as much off as possible.

I don't know, never had this problem. Are they close enough to chop? might be the best solution before you lose them.

Powdery Mildew poppin up left and right, trying to find a way to control the environment in the tunnel enough to slow it way down. It’s been super humid this week and it’s getting cooler, so the battle is beginning.
Tried shutting up the tunnel and running my dehumidifier in it. Climbed over 100f and claimed the rh was 55%, but my glasses steamed up immediately and the walls were covered in condensation. Nope.
Tried using the dehumidifier as the air intake for the tunnel. May have decreased the humidity a few points but nothing meaningful. Nope.
Should I just toss one more fan out there and blow them away for the rest of the season?
Going to do a light milk/LAB spray in full sun, and defoliate the hell out of the plants, but I feel like this may be harder to control than just outdoors. Going to be mid 60s and 40s at night for the next week. Roping in all the experts I can think of @Waira @Jean-O @420Forever @Mañ'O'Green @MI_sterGreen @pop22

No, still 4 weeks at least probably. It’s not bad yet, but I know it could become bad tomorrow lol. The LAB I mixed with milk before hand and let sit for a bit, after an hour it was already separated, the bacteria must have been jamming. Diluted a lot with water and sprayed lightly in some places and heavier in others. Got some southern ag on the way, arrives Tuesday. Finally, I’m closing it up at night and putting the dehumidifier in there. If it makes a difference I’ll keep doing that, but its the one out of my drying room so if it doesn’t work I’m pulling it out of the tunnel.

The same air RH reading at 100°F of 55% would be over 100% RH (rain) at 75°F that is why the walls have condensation. You want that. Heat the air in the green house to above the dew point outside and the air in the green house will condense on the walls lowering the RH. Here is a link to a dew point calculator.

Set it to solve the temperature. enter the current dewpoint from your weather sevice. set the RH to the best you can. As you change the desired RH it will give you the temperature you need inside the tent to achieve the control. Once again do not worry about the condensation on the walls that is where the excess water is going.

Best thing then is get a sulphur burner, I here that works well for PM

I've never had PM before either. I do have a product called Green Cleaner for pest control if needed. Its been approved by the state of Washington for use when selling adult use cannabis. Its ingredients include isopropyl alcohol to combat PM. Green Cleaner by Arbico Organics. Hope this helps

Intersting observation, the leaves taking the most direct fan are developing it the fastest. I cranked the speed up last night a bit but maybe that was the wrong direction. Either way it’s moving quickly, going to pull anything affected off again today. Borrowing a dehumidifier from a friend tomorrow, hopefully it’s bigger than mine.
