Indoor The Convoy: Short Stuff Boutique Test Grow Rd. 3 +1 - Tha Shiznit/Purple Amnesia/ ASD

Turn that frown upside down, Trap! The ladies look a bit rough, but they've bounced back from what they were looking like a few days ago! Way to get them back in the game, bro. We both know you're gonna finish strong, so I'll be looking forward to hearing just how bomb the smoke is!

Breaking through another roadblock Rubber Duck.

Damn those Smokeys! (and lock outs) :)

Thanks for the pep-talk, Ronin!

:Sharing One: howdy Trap'! ..yeah, I'm down with that, sounds like a good plan mate! Foliar as much as you can, while you can, before the bud develops too far along to be worth the risk! They lookin' better my friend-- those girls are definitely trying! Fine job fighting this trouble,...buuuut, :yoinks:- your big skill test is about to begin as bloom gets under way... :goodluck: ... LOL! -you saw what my Lambsbreads did when they shifted modes! ..different causes, yes, but likely same issues for nute's demands,... Keep grindin' Trap', I think you got this..! :d5:

Update - Operation "Limp it Home" :)

Ordinarily, I would be so tempted to remove the leaves that are partially dead but right now I'm looking
at them as "half alive" and able to carry storages of food for a plant who's straw to the underground is just
too narrow...like using a cocktail swizzle to drink a malt....

Every time I feed them, those partially dead leaves get darker green in the places that still have life. SO...
keep as much pantry space as possible.

Foliar is no longer an option for either, really as PA is flowering in earnest and Shiz is starting to get there.

It's so tempting to overwater these as I want to continue pumping nutes into them, but I'm exhibiting all
the patience I can muster to let the pots dry out.

Trichs coming in decent on the PA...from the strain notes, I'm led to believe the PA will finish up faster than
the Shiz, so I suspect PA has 2.5 weeks left and the Shiz maybe 3.5 weeks...We'll see.

Pics!

Trapper, color seems to be coming back to the shiz, looks like she is going to be OK.
They may not be what you wanted them to be, but this hobby has a way of teaching us things about ourselves as much as we learn about plants.
Remember, these test grows show what the plant does under all sorts of conditions. Seeing how well a plant bounces back after problems is valuable info for future growers.
Not everyone has the luxury of killing a mistake and starting over.
I think you will be pleasantly surprised when your done.

Good Luck,
GB

In for a dime, in for a dollar.. :)

Any time you have a plant in flower, throwing pistils and trichs....it's a good thing!

What's up with your plants there Trapper?

Looks like nutrient burn to me, but just fill me in quickly with what the problem was and what the diagnosis was.

Cheers!

Long story short:

Underdeveloped root mass, potential pH issues given the medium (FFHF/CocoLoco 50/50)
led to uptake issues and multiple deficiencies. Plant was prematurely draining and killing
fan leaves. Don't think it was nute burn...if anything, underfed.

FeZn/Flowers Kiss Foliar feeds, Great White top-dresses, slightly stronger feed concentrations
has improved the uptake a bit, trying to run slightly lower pH's (6.2-6.4 instead of 6.5-6.7)
and the addition of Boomerang, Kangaroots and Microbe Brew.

Still sipping through too small of a straw but regains leaf color after each feed.

Remember in Fast and Furious when "Brian Spilner" races Dom for the first time? He hits
the 2nd stage Nitrous boost even when his laptop tells him not to, because he wants to
win the race and get to the finish line no matter what he breaks getting there?

Yeah, that's what I'm going to do :)

More Tiger Bloom, More Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz and Cha-Ching :)
