I love the Summer! Eek and Root in full swing and those plants all look marvelous, just marvelous. The Fantaseeds really turned out to be quite impressive. The doctor, wow, what some lovely fingers on that lady. I am really in love with that plant and will be keeping a keen eye on her. Let me know how the smoke is when you get around to it.
So I noticed you said you would release some info on your soil. I would like to have the 411 on that as well when you have some free time. The plants all seem to be loving it!
What is that blue auto you have going there? Right about now is when we need smellavision. She looks like she is smelling wonderful.
Lastly, good Lord Root! You have high hopes for that Jack47 huh? An entire garbage can of soil devoted to that lady. I hate to see you two's amendment bill this year. There is a crap ton of soil in that garden! And I just thought I was working my tail off doing 50 gallons at a time, lol.
Happy Summer you two!
Yes my fine friend, the plants are loving the soil. I can see the difference in the ones which have just the "Subcool" kind of soil (only using the name in reference to types of soil). If you remember it was the Big Dog. We actually bought the soil wholesale from a local garden store. To be fair, this stores customers are mostly friendly to our cause.
Thank you for the rep A4!
Last year that garbage can grew corn and we kept thinking a nice photo would look good in it.
{{{EEK-->}}} Surely you remember that can? We grew that Blue Hopi Corn in it.
The blue is coming out in some of the Russian Dragons...super smell.
I really like the soil so far
Happy Summer to you too! Hope the thermostat gets turned down!
Thanks again, and glad you stopped in, and thanks for the reps
outstanding work!!
very pretty!!!
Thanks for the reps to elvis, and thanks, Root does most of the feeding, so she is getting strong and stuff now. She could probably take me in arm wrestling now.
Eekman, I just found this thread this morning and I've sure enjoyed the read. You and Roots seem like you have built a great life together. Thanks so much for sharing and giving us a peek at your little cabin in the woods.
That pup, by the way, looks like he sure enjoys being the new garden dog. He seems to be growing just as fine as the green ladies grow in your garden.
Thanks for stopping in Nuggz. Wait till you see the next update, I think we have gotten in over our head. It takes about ten bucks per feeding now with all the Sea Blast Grow AND Bloom being administered now that they are sexing.
I guess I should talk about that.
First of all, I apologize for being late. I had a vacation from work (paid, and first ever paid). And I took some time to visit family and see the outdoors a bit.
It was awesome.
Sexing is such a wonderful time and yet it is bitter-sweet. It is when you see your females start to bloom. And sometimes some of your favorites turn into males. But we will make use of ONE male cross each, and one female cross of each of the Breeding project I am working on. I guess it's official that I am now trying to breed something grand. Great Big outdoor plants that are sweet and neat, bulky and bushy.
It seems that the Cotton Candy X's are more heat resistant than the other two. However it is not necessarily the plant. I have the JTR X's in black buckets. But they are shaded by the other plants (now).
The Low Rider X's are nice and big since we up potted (they were in black pots too), and seem to enjoy the heat.
This may be a way to incorporate that trait into Photosensitive plants in Warmer area's. It's tricky to define that one cuz it's a hidden deal. But easily identifiable once it gets hot.
