Grow Room The Cab in the Woods | Dutch Passion DP & WW

An update to yesterday's events -

White Widow has already perked up considerably. She's still a bit sad looking and I think at least the two oldest leaf sets cannot be recovered. All in all I think we got off with a fright and I really hope she'll indeed bounce back.

The Blumat on DP was fine, it was still full of water and since WW's Blumat wasn't gunked up with algae either it must still be working. WW's Blumat was empty. I think some of the bubbles from the air stone got in the tube and messed it up. Can't think of anything else.

This time I'm gonna tie the Blumat tubes to a rock or something to make sure they stay put at the bottom.

EDIT: The surface of the air tube was a bit slimy. Running straight water without air pump for now.

Both plants are recovering just fine. Older growth looks really battered, I wonder what causes the scars in between the veins. I'm 99% sure it's not pests. My best guess is spilled nutrient solution even though I was sure to dry all the leaves. Oh well.

I plucked WW's first real leaves because they were ready to drop. I'll let her drop the second oldest leaves on her own. It's nice to see that she's growing again.

28 days later (from sprout)

Both of the plants are chugging along nicely. WW still seems to have leftover food from my panic feeding the other day. Leave it to me to burn a plant with organic nutes! :roflcry:
DP seems (to me) to be crying for some cal-mag which I don't have. I'm probably gonna try soaking some powdered eggshells in water with a few drops of citric acid and see how that'll do for cal. Also, I'm not sure if she's hungry for some N or just following suit and performing euthanasia on the oldest leaves because they are yellow and about to drop but the rest of the plant has gotten greener. I think I'll also give her a weak dose of Bio-Grow just in case.

There's some nice budding but no trichomes yet, I don't know if it's a bad or a promising sign because the Delahaze I grew earlier had already started pumping them out when her pre-flowers were about this size.
I was also doing some reading on seaweed the other day. Turns out it temporarily depletes nitrogen from the soil when it's used. That might explain why the plants always seemed to start growing a few days after every feeding.
Good to know, although I could've used this info earlier when I used rather generous amounts of the stuff. :slaps:

Hey man, looks like they are back in action man. I had a girl that had a rough start with some wild deficiencies. It got stunted but still gave me some amazing looking buds.
So, what Im saying is. Dont be surprised if you get surprised of the good quality smoke you end up with. :pass:

Haha damn right dude! These might not end up much bigger than they already are but my last grow proved to me that it doesn't matter as far as quality is concerned! Thanks for your visit!
