Week 6 Seedstockers Battle Update:

Battle Plant Candy Dawg Auto day 47 in soil and doing fantastically:

Currently receiving 20/4 light, Feeding 1l daily of increasing bloom feed, currently 1.5ml/l biogrow, 1ml/l biobloom and topmax, and 3.5ml/l Alg-a-mic.
Continuing to receive small LST adjustments but I have achieved multiple cola dominance through straight LST with structure similar to that of a topped plant which I am pleased about.
She is currently flowering quite rapidly, with lots of action on a daily basis.
Her smell gets sweeter and spicier by the day, with an acrid green background. Very pleasing.

Nicole Cream Auto day 47 in soil:

This one despite not being chosen is now rapidly over taking her sister. While due to this discolouration I decided to go with the Candy Dawg there is absolutely nothing wrong with this plant.

She is so insanely bushy, I have high hopes for her yields.

Anyway AFN thanks for reading, I think I’m doing pretty well so far for this simple soil growers first battle!

Peace out

Untrained plants are the tits! My next grow I'm letting them all grow naturally.:headbang: I'm outdoor though and don't know shit about growing indoors :pass:

I don't train my outdoor plants. Sometimes i might top once for some bigger colas but it's not necessary outdoors with the power of the sun. But indoors it's almost a must. Without training indoors you get some top grade bud up top and popcorn underdeveloped buds down below and with all the buds being in the sweet spot of your light they grow faster and bigger. A flat even canopy is one of the most important things you need when growing indoors.

A little help please

I suppose I could post this in the infirmary, but as it's a "battle plant", with lots of experienced and worthy members looking in, I'll post here.

I have "NEVER" had pests in my growroom (growing outside yes - but Never inside).

Only minor, and found on 1 lower leaf.... very localised at present

My thoughts are "spider mite" but would value more experienced eyes taking a look.... opinions welcome.

Looks like spider mite. Or possibly a type of aphid. I had aphids and it really messed with my grow. The key is early detection. I didn't see them till it was to late I ended up throwing out two big plants midflower to save the rest. I use End All insecticide with neem oil. Worked like a charm with no ill effects. But if you only found one you might have got lucky and stopped her before she could lay eggs. Still I'd keep an eye out.

Week 5 Update

DinaFem Battle

Can't say enough about how well this little photo girl is going. I'm running her on the same schedule as my autos, and she'll hit the dark tent on Monday, which should give me exactly 7 weeks to flower before polling. This Fast Critical will officially be renamed Critter going forward. Need to get a journal for this girl going as well.

Aha @jb_moviefan....

Day 36

Sorry for the late update! I have been really busy with house renovations and work so have just left her to it, lucky if I've had time to check in once every 2/3 days.

Today I top fed her with 1 gram bactrex and 20mg orgatrex in 500ml of water. I also spread her out using soft ties.

I still have lots to do so I'll try to update as often as I can.

Qb
I got you checked off @Qbgrower :headbang:

I don't know, these outdoor plants are topped on every branch, hundreds of times. You keep the bottoms cleaned out and cage the shit out of. Yall see in October with dinafems new strains.
