Skunk and cheese are definitely totally different. I've grown a couple cheeses hoping for skunk but nothing close. There's also a theory that since skunks are north American animals, the Dutch and Europeans don't really know the smell

This is one of the closest I've come to skunk.

This was a cut that had been smuggled into the UK in the late '80s early 90s from California into the north UK someplace and was cultivated there for years.

I was looking for skunk and for a p.m. resistant strain which this was supposed to be. And it was for the most part. It did pretty good job with p.m.

I had a great harvest good smoke nice buds can't be mad about that at all it.

But it just wasn't the skunk that I was hoping for and was still a ways off from the 80s skunk...

Autowreck auto.. Don't know what is going on with this bush.. 51 days in and no flowering.. this bush reminds me of a reveg with it's dense foliage, tight node spacing, and squatty size

We've had a couple mm's of rain in the last 2 months here and on stage 5 water restrictions. We picked this up a couple days ago that i'll get it installed in the next week or so.. will increase our rain catchment to 360 gallons, if it ever rains again

My indoor autowrecks are on day 109 and finally starting to pack it on the colas. Definitely a touchy one. It is probably going to get booted to the outdoors here soon as the tent is getting pretty hot 86f at times. Had to lower the veg light level to 25% and flower is 100%. Seems to like that and some bioag ful-humic.

Weirdly pheno or my mistake?She has lot of leaves,but buds are trough dense!Smell is fresh fruits(maybe apple?) Very nice smell too!

I grew some super lemon haze from Farmers lab in BC that is very skunky. Checked their site and they offer a Original #1 skunk

Steinlager had Heineken beat on skunkiness in the 80s! That skunk scent hit your nose as soon as you popped the top!
I'm pretty sure the first homegrown I smoked was skunk. I think it'd be cool to grow one of the early 80s skunks!

I went to 4 stores. 2 specialty liquor stores, nope they don't carry the Steinlager.
I guess I'll have to check the map and then call the stores.
I really thought that the 2 specialty stores I went to would carry most everything... but they did not???

Molson ice usually is skunky

I was kind of stumped...
I couldn't find the Molson or Molson ice either? Well they sell it here in the state of Michigan but not at any of the stores that I went to... freaking crazy.

I've drank a lot of Molson in my day. But not Molson ice that I can recall... I probably have just don't remember it.

I ended up buying a 6 of Stella and another 6 of fresh heinekens that was just delivered earlier that day. Just to see if the heinekens that I had got at The Big box store was flat or old.?

Well they must have changed the heinekens recipe since last I drank it?
it has just about absolutely zero skunky smell. it almost tasted like a regular lager maybe?

I don't know. it had its own flavor... I guess.. but it sure as hell wasn't what it used to be...

The Stella though had a real skunky flavor, it actually reminded me of the heinekens of the '80s.
We drank all that Stella last night... Plus some...

Well now if I can find seeds that come as close as Stella does to (old) heinekens I'll settle with that.

Maybe original #1 skunk ?
