Completed The 2023 Outdoor Auto-Photo Competition!

So I think I have to cut down the greenhouse due to mold. Would you guys call it quits if the bracts that first appear are all molding on all the plants? RotBlock did nothing

I tried growing in a greenhouse a couple years ago.. the plant was a monster. I had a LOT of air circulation, and due to high RH, I lost the plant. And last year, I had a plant outdoors treated weekly with Rotblock that I took down on November 14th. I won't grow in the greenhouse again.

Oh, the plant that made it until November 14th for it's final chop was a Seedstockers Blackberry Gum. Some strains fair much better than others i'm finding out. Good growing to you, it can be a pita sometimes  :pass::toke:

Probably started on the pumpkin plant or whatever is growing behind them. I had a pumpkin plant start the pm on me a few years back now I keep them away from my canna plants. I've had good luck in the past using powdered milk and dawn dish soap to kill off pm. Good luck getting it knocked down. You can also wash your flower at the end of the season when u harvest with H2O2 and water which I would suggest if you keep the plants going to the end.

@JP1 - I agree with Jean-O about trying the milk to push back the PM. We've used whole milk with a drop of dish soap in a sprayer if you want to stick with very safe methods. It just requires a lot of frequent reapplication to work. It doesn't look like you are too far into flower. Could probably get away with a "real" chemical treatment at this point.

I had PM on my cucumber vines despite being hot & dry & standing alone in a wide open outdoor bed. The Captain Jacks Copper Fungicide worked fantastically and fast. I think maybe 2 applications was all I needed. They should have it at HomeDepot so you can pick it up in person and start treating instead of waiting a week for delivery. Good luck!

The wife still loves @Jean-O Detriot Rock City but give me a little of the RBF too.

Thanks Bill !
Have you ever seen the movie Detroit Rock City? It's pretty funny. I need to find time to circle back around to the DRC I really enjoy the one I ran last year and it throws down outdoors.

I've got this stuff which actually worked better last year for whiteflies then anything I've ever found. Whiteflies usually ruin everything outside here mid-september since they stick to the trichomes and don't wash off. Gonna see how it works for mildew now

...something about that 13-14 light hours threshold seems to be a real factor,...combined with longer 18+ hour indoor starting nursery stage it really can set the trigger feather-light!
I think earlier would be fine, just no more than 15 hours of light, maybe 14?
I was biting my nails a bit on the UEL when I put her out, breeder said she's very twitchy but then he's at high Lat's (Denmark I think)...
So far so good, I hope she holds steady through the next month at least!

Fat 3-wood club head buds look to be coming on her -

Outdoor life can do some irritating things with auto's sometimes, cultivar dependent usually... Plus it's SSSC, which has shown pretty hit&miss pheno stability in others grows over the years...
Weird to get a purple expression, I don't recall ever seeing that even when it first came out and AFN tested them. Rumor has it that Creeper is at least part Midas (Rare Dankness); SSSC doesn't disclose any info about Creeper, only the Williams Wonder auto side of the parentage...

That's rather alarming mate  ...and quite strange fir it to so selectively hit just those pre-sex calyxes... I'd get with Bryan in PM about this situation...
I'm shocked RotBlock didn't quell this! ... mixed cultivars, or same/clones? What was the RH% like lately, and air movement? View attachment 1613948
