Tent size

Tsw 3000 AND the 2 autocobs that I already have?
that would bring you to 560 true watts in a 4x4. Tsw 2000 and auto cobs is 410. Your call there. autos need less and these lights getting brighter. Just going forward if I was to upgrade from 2x4 to 4x4 with Mars gear I'd run 500 minimum in the tent. Just my opinion..

And if power consumption is a worry. I got a 2 story house. And run 550 watts of mars. And 100 watts of hlg 6 fans. 2 carbon filters. And power bill was 177 with me and the fam

Power not an issue. I put solar on the house a few months back.

Does it matter the configuration, specifically filter on suction or exhaust.

I had an existing 3 x 3 ft tent, and had been using a 2 x 4 ft tent for drying, but decided to use the 2 x 4 for growing too.
The 3 x 3 had a 6 inch fan/filter, but I only had another 4 inch without a filter.
The stopgap solution was to vent the 2 x 4 into the 3 x 3, then vent the 3 x 3 out a basement window.
It's not an elegant solution, but it works fine.
I use an exhaust fan only, unless there's trouble venting out everything, then I add an intake.
