Tent Questions

Hi all...I didn't see anything specific on tent set ups and so forth...

So I'm going to sticky this thread for any questions and answers that you members with tents, can answer...

Also, if you have any pics of how your tent is set up, please post them...Pictures say a 1000 words...:thumbs:
Basically, as far as pics go, mostly looking for how yours is set up...Not so much about the plants...

Thanks for your cooperation and I hope this thread gets the attention that new tent buyers, like myself, can gain some info...

Well i have a secret jarden and i love it!!!check my set up in the new growers forum!!!its a little ghetto but got all for 400 bucks!!! BUT MINE IS ONLY 400 WATTS , BUT I LOVE THE TENTS!!!

No it doesn't matter Ripster the whole point of it is to pull cool air across the bulb keeping it cooler. So either way it's doing the same thing.

Been looking into the tent market as closet space has gotten scarce in my place with the ladies taking up all the room.I've heard alot of good things about the secret jardin tents and found a package deal on greners.5'x5' air cooled 1000w package including secret jardin darkroom pro dr150ll tent,1000 w hps/mh light,fans,filter the whole shebang. Anyone have any experience with a package like this? Price is $1225 and $86 shipping to my door. Don't know if thats high or low just lookin for some input before i lighten my bank account.Thanks!

I just got all my stuff from Greners...Can't beat their prices and shipping rates...Plus, I purchased equipment for 1000 watt tent set up. Spent right at $1300.00. I did see that package, but I wanted a diff. bulb and ballast. After I figured up everything I wanted, I liked my package better... So just take their basic package and change what you want to and compare your price to the package price...

Since you can't do the attic, how about the floor? Crawl space or basement?

Thanks ripster,don't know alot about hps/mh lights so was going to stick with what they supply in the package deal.I've been using t5's for a little while now and they do work well but my 33"x33"x6' closet growroom is full and figured this tent would give all the room i'll need for my new hobby.Not sure how many autos will fit in a 5'x5' tent but its gotta be more then whats in my little closet grow.

Just a quick update on my temperature issue I was having. So I switched the passive intake from the top to the bottom and gained 4 degrees during the day now and I got a small ceramic heater for the room and now it doesn't drop below 72. So as of now it is 72 at night and 79 during the day. I wish it was a few degrees warmer but once I have my second led I am sure it will be dead on.

I've been growin with T5 HO for 3 years now...I still love my fixture and will use it outside the tent as well...But after 3 yrs. I felt I needed to up my game to the next level...
Hydro is level 3. But I'm not ready for that yet...Still love my soil grows...

I'm in an apartment. What is wrong with having a fan and scrubber in my tent and venting into my room?

Yeah Ripster i love my t5 8bank and sidelighting but being in a studio apt with only 2 closets 1 of which is now a growroom makes it tough.Stripped my 2nd closet for a rubbermaid growbox i just built and decided it wasn't going to cut it as clothes and coats don't all fit in the dressers lol! Figured the tent would solve the problem and i can keep it in the shed in the summer and downstairs in my shop during the winter.Now to start reading up on mh/hps lights.So many lights,ballasts,reflectors oh my!
