Tent Questions

Hi all...I didn't see anything specific on tent set ups and so forth...

So I'm going to sticky this thread for any questions and answers that you members with tents, can answer...

Also, if you have any pics of how your tent is set up, please post them...Pictures say a 1000 words...:thumbs:
Basically, as far as pics go, mostly looking for how yours is set up...Not so much about the plants...

The big question for me is what strains I will do since I have over 60 different strains ready to go. Most are photo strains but I have like 20 auto strains as well. The only definite one I know I am doing is wos Pakistan valley landrace because of its pure origin and its medicinal pain reliever qualities!

I'm at fault for hi-jacking this time....

Ok I got my gl145 setup with a vortex 6" exhaust fan, phresh filter, phresh duct silencer and speed controller for the fan. So far I absolutely love the whole setup and it is very quiet and completely odor proof with 9 plants in it right now. My main concern is temps in the tent! Last night it dropped to 66 degrees as a low and 77 was the high but it struggled to get to 77 all day. I have only one led in there right now but the second should be here by Friday I hope but I am worried about the low temps not being ideal for photosynthesis. So my question is if I get a small thermostat controlled heater would it be better to heat the room the tent is in or actual put the heater in the tent?

I would start with it in the room and see how it goes if there not enought them heat the tent directley

I run a small thermostat heater on my floor during the winter to regulate the ROOM, and I'll be pulling that air into my TENT to regulate it. My hood is an air cooled hood to.

But 66 is to low. Growth will slow if it persists...Get yourself a small floor heater and set the temp. to 73. My lows will on occasion, hit 69. But mostly stay at 73. There's more I want to say, but I got on to late and have to go to work. If nobody has finished what my thoughts were, then I'll be back this evening....Sorry...

Thanks stoney and ripster! I will have to swing by wally word and grab a heater today. My room is only 12x12 so it shouldn't take much to heat it since it is in an upper level room. I am playing with fan speed as well today to see how that effects the temp. It ran on 40% last night when it dropped to 66.

Thanks Ripster! I am amazed at how much cooler the tent is over my former closet grows which usually run 82-84 during the day and 70 at night. It still hasn't gotten above 75 today with the fan on 20% so I may have to run a heater still even after I get my second led in there! Love having all this space and man are these phresh carbon filters the bomb! Even with 9 plants in there and running the fan at 20% I cant smell a thing!

Sounds great. I'll have my tent stuff tomorrow and get it up and running. I think I'll run it empty for 24 to 48 hours and see where my temps. are before I throw in the girls...
