Tent Questions

Hi all...I didn't see anything specific on tent set ups and so forth...

So I'm going to sticky this thread for any questions and answers that you members with tents, can answer...

Also, if you have any pics of how your tent is set up, please post them...Pictures say a 1000 words...:thumbs:
Basically, as far as pics go, mostly looking for how yours is set up...Not so much about the plants...

Thanks for your cooperation and I hope this thread gets the attention that new tent buyers, like myself, can gain some info...

I'm in the planning stages of a 2' x 4' x 5' tent grow. I'm planning on using a 300w LED light and I was thinking about scrogging 2 plants in that area.

What I don't know is what are my ventilation, co2 and odor requirements for this setup?

I cannot vent outside.

Your going to need an exhaust fan and a good carbon filter that matches the cfm of your fan cowboy. With that small of a tent and only 2 plants you are looking at a 4" fan and filter that matches or exceeds the cfm of the fan. As I have found out with led you may need a heater especially in your neck of the woods.

600w HPS
Easy cool 6 reflector
426 cfm inline 6" fan
6" carbon filter from HTG supply

Tents are badass. Had to take it down and save it for when we move into a new house.

will I need an intake fan as well?

That is up to you but most people go with passive intake like I am. If you are sucking air out it will obviously cause a negative pressure which is good and it will suck air in through your vent socks and this can be adjusted as you go.

Cowboy I will put some pics of my new growlab up soon. Waiting on my second led to fill this huge space I have now! I can tell you already that you will be in love with how simple tents make things!

I got a question for...It maybe a rookie question, cause in this case, well...Anyway, I'll have my carbon filter inside the tent. It will be connected like yours...But does it matter which direction you pull air across the bulb? Like after the filter, then the hood. Socket first or bulb tip first?

Been looking into the tent market as closet space has gotten scarce in my place with the ladies taking up all the room.I've heard alot of good things about the secret jardin tents and found a package deal on greners.5'x5' air cooled 1000w package including secret jardin darkroom pro dr150ll tent,1000 w hps/mh light,fans,filter the whole shebang. Anyone have any experience with a package like this? Price is $1225 and $86 shipping to my door. Don't know if thats high or low just lookin for some input before i lighten my bank account.Thanks!
