Tent humidifiers recommended

@Roach
Thanks for posting your info bro

Do you mind sharing the link of what you bought on Amazon?
We're all tight right now, so no shame involved, actually,...most of us will appreciate your input based on prices vs your expectations.
This going into what size tent?
What is your present humidity level like?

Cheers, and keep safe. ( 2 meters / 7 feet)..:d5:

If you want to stay away from white powder that spews from many humidifiers, then consider an evaporative humidifier. I use the Taotronics TT-AH017 (from Amazon) and really like it, but can't have it in my tent at the moment. It's with my radiator heater that is in an old 2 drawer file cabinet pushed up to the lower tent screen. The inline fan sucks it all in. I clean mine every month (important) with Clorox wipes.
I'm glad that you mentioned the use of evaporative humidifiers. I'm currently using one of those ultrasonic Crane units and I can tell that it's taking a toll on the exhaust and filter because temperatures begin to climb for 'no reason'. I guess it's time to try and find some Clorox wipes or find a decent evaporative unit.

@OttoCBD. You can use a shop vac to clean off the exterior of your filter if its starting to clog up.
Probably not a good idea long term time and time again.
But it might get you out of a bind for a couple of weeks.

Thanks but the filter that I'm using doesn't have air drawn though it. The filter itself is in an adjoining room and I push though it. I might disconnect it and take an air compressor to it. Hopefully it'll be enough to get me though this run.

Ah got ya.
So seeing you got the smarts follow me on this thought..
Mount the filter in a 5 gallon bucket with the cover on.
Verbal picture...5 gallon empty...cut hole in. 5 gallon cover ...place filter into the bucket , put cover with hole back on bucket...
(Filter is now in bucket ... With filter hole pointing up).
Pull filter through the hole , in bucket cover.
....
Install a Shrader (valve)...tire air fitting on the bucket cover.
Pump 100psi into the bucket...air is forced through the filter...and out..
( like backwash on the pool:biggrin: ).

Are you using a carbon filter?
I'm trying to get a hold of someone from a filter media in the States.
Compliment s of a fellow here on the site.
I'd really like to be able to rebuild my 4 inch by 12 inch carbon filter.
In this day and age, bio this and e that....wtf...
Or buy another Chinese made filter.
:finger: F that :finger:...
I' m sure we're smart enough in the Americas and Europe to rebuild an F'ing filter.

Amazon product
I went for this one. I'm hoping as my grow progresses I won't have to rely on it but for now I definitely need something. It's an ultrasonic like some of the others mentioned here so will require RO/distilled water which is not a problem for myself.
My tent is 4x2x7 and my RH got as low as 27 yesterday  I've also ordered a cheap fan speed controller to try and slow my exhaust a bit and a 9' oscillating desk fan. Gonna be a squeeze in my little groom!

Literally just got delivered! :woohoo:
I'll let you all know what I think ASAP, girls are asleep for 2 more hours so I won't disturb them yet.

So the little beauty has been puffing away in "smart" mode for a couple of hours and has taken my RH from 29 to 42 which is a bit more acceptable at least! This mode "adjusts the operation speed automatically, according to ambient humidity" but nowhere does it say what that would be? Must be above 42 though as was still puffing away. Also doesn't appear that can be adjusted which is a shame but whadda ya gonna do for 30 bucks!
The 12 & 24h settings both seem to puff out considerably more steam so I'm gonna have a fart around and see if I can get it perfect!
Desk fan turned up today as well so just waiting on the speed controller but at least I might sleep a bit better tonight!

@Roach
Tried having a look at the Amazon.UK site this morning for your humidifier.
Didn't work
Mind posting a picture?
