New Grower Teach me something!!

@LazyNhazy aorry about that. I ended up editing my first one with your answer, when I realized I hadn’t answered the question. I got it wrong anyway. It’s cobs for veg.
They are coming along better than I thought for a little bit. I realized I was getting stressed out over nothing. They were free seeds anyways. I was over watering already getting antsy. Patience is being taught.
3 of them came through, with one still lagging behind that I accidentally buried by watering. (So many mistakes). I washed the coco on one the pots, and buffered a little with cal mag.Paper toweled 2 seeeds, one popped and I put it in the buffed coco. EC is taking forever to get here. Heats a little bit of a problem, but I have been covering them for 6 hours or so at night with the lid from a tote? Don’t know if that makes any sense, but either way, when I get paid I’ll get a little space heater.
This is what I’m sticking with for now, I accepted I’m gonna mess stuff up. So I won’t be dropping any more seeds until I’m ready to harvest these
Also got a nice turkey Baster for $3. That will help with water the little ones in the future

EDIT: I have a tiny amount of maxi grow for 2 gallons right now I did water with. Like Quarter tea spoon for 2 gallon. When do I water to run off?I’m guessing when I don’t feel like they will float to the top, or when the medium starts to dry out more?

Also @Archaic
When you say well drained, just put something under neath the fabric pots for run off, or literally put holes in the thing?

Just make sure it has holes in it so that you get run off. Even if there is some liquid at the bottom of the pot (like an autopot or hempy bucket) as long as you have an air/water interface in your media so the roots can get oxygen you're good to go.

Alright. So we are doing okay. I successfully killed 3 of them. So I germed another one. I did wash the coco on 2 of them. I can already tell it makes a huge difference.
big mistake was lake of patience.
I’m watering at .8 ec and my base is just my well water EC of .4. Not sure if that’s going to be a problem.
I’m really stretching my watering so that’s good.
Curious, I was wondering if I can leave a nutrient solution out for 3 or so days, and re PH, or do I have to make a new batch every time? Not a big deal, but if I’m gonna be away I’d like to be able to just mix it, then someone can just use the turkey baster. Either way here we are
Also, am I being hyper sensitive to the discoloring on my last photo, or does it look fine?

looks like everything is running smooth. At least it appears. Just watering when they are dry, ec .8. I’m going to start using RO water from the grocery. PH is 5.8. They are doing okay but one has some spots that are concerning. Which is weird because it’s also the coco I did actually wash. At first I thought they were nutrient burn from being messy at watering a. But the other one doesn’t have them. There is also some parts that are paler. Not sure what to do. I can’t find reference to this exact thing, and don’t want to do anything drastic to make something else go wrong. So for now, I’m waiting for it to get better, or worse
I think it might be a phosphorus issue, or magnesium and burnt from being sloppy. Not sure!

The couple of spots look like a small bit of Calcium Deficiency and coco is notorious for it. add 50 PPMs of cal-mag from now on to each fertigation. If/ when you switch to RO add 100 PPMs of cal-mag to it.

Hey guys! I got pretty lazy on my journal as you can see. I felt like I just needed to go through some trial and error. Anyway, they are starting to flower! I accidentally broke the top off one which I think made it stunt it’s self. Right now, just pulling me down when I have the chance, watering to run off at 1.6 EC and waiting to see what happens.

Hey guys things are going good. Idk, I want to switch back to my tap water but i think it’s just to hard. When I first started watering to run off the ec in my run off was absolutely nuts. It pushed 3 one time if I remember right. Because I wasn’t watering to run off, I think the water was leaving behind everything and it built up. So my question is, if I religiously water to run off everyday, would that be fine? I use a pretty airy mix, can I water to run off from seedling?
If let’s say my water tests at high .3, can I push the boundaries in nute level?
I started 4 more 2 days ago in a paper towel. One hasn’t busted yet, so I tried to help it a little. Dropped 3 last night and I can see 2 coming up now. Using the same GSC as I’m using now. For the first couple weeks I’m going to put them on buckets to keep out of the light a little, and let the other two soak it up. LST tomorrow, but I’m nervous I’ve heard plants get more brittle when starting to bud, so wish me luck!
