Hi guys, I have an akr that I grow indoor & outdoor. It's about two and half to three weeks (lost count: :what:) and the first week I knocked the whole pot over and I thought I was doomed, but it's shown a lot of improvement and grown a lot but I still feel like its growing pretty slow. Anyway, I'm not sure if you can see in the pictures but the older leaves are a lighter green then the newer ones. The newer ones are like darker, I remember when the newer leaves were smaller they almost looked bluish purple. Is this normal? My closet isn't Cold enough to do it. I haven't added any nutes yet I'm not sure if it's to early and I song want to mess things up even more, since my plant is probably already stunted. The soil I'm using is unknown, but it seems to have petite and wood chips in it.

I'd probably get it into some soil you've bought so you know what your working with, im fairly new to growing myself but it looks like it could use some nutes, I read that a sign of when to feed is when the color starts fading in the cotyledons.

unstable pH could be playing a part too.

Again im not a real experienced grower at this point but id suggest transplant and feed, hopefully someone with more experience comes along to help, I would wait for them

Thanks for the response, my cotyledons have already turned yellow so if what you're saying is true then that means I should feed them some nutes

Well I grow in coco which is a soilless medium, it holds no nutritional value so I feed earlier on than you would do in soil, if I found my plants looking as pale as that with cotyledons dead I would feed.

pH is probably the most common problem new growers will run into though, again since your soil is unknown this could be part of the problem aswell, unknown medium + no info on pH pretty much leaves it down to guesswork which is based purely on looking at the plant.
