Outdoor Tajikistani Hash

The two clones from my second set of clones, vegging away at five feet, awaiting springtime and some time outdoors. Finally kicked the powdery mildew in here, took about a month for them to shed the bad leaves after the outbreak. BT for the freaking win!
Note to all gardeners: Powdery mildew is insidious, it comes indoors too. Always burn or otherwise destroy infected leaves, NEVER compost them. And don't give up on your plants, just let the BT work through them and rid you of it naturally. (Takes patience).

BT?

"Bacillus subtilis is a naturally occurring strain of bacteria that can be found in soils and in the gastrointestinal tract of humans. When bacillus subtilis is applied to powdery mildew, the bacteria feed on the powdery mildew as a nutrition source, until the infection is gone and then the bacteria die off". Southern Ag has it in the Home Depot stores down south. I ordered it on line since I'm way up north.
BT for insects outdoors, which is a different strain of BT, works wonders, too. Best brand is Captain Jack's, can be used up to day of harvest. There is also a form of BT for mosquitoes in standing water that does the job and does not harm fish or frogs.

Update: Well....I was going to let these two veg until I could set them out in spring (June), however they are both five feet tall now and seriously no room in this room for them. So I trimmed them up from the bottom to give me some solid main branches, raised the lights and flipped them to 12 hours. Used the cuttings for clones, we'll see how many take. :smokeit:

Judging from previous experience they will now nearly double in height, or in this case they may just reach another one or two feet since I let them veg since July, and they'll start flowering in about two weeks.

Note: There is a little light burn on the top leaves, they took a shot of Megacrop and grew up over the lights in the span of a week. I've corrected light height.

Damn Al, you've been busy this winter :) Looks like you've taken a shine to that strain, how did your buds turn out? How many seeds did you wind up harvesting?

I'm doing seeds all this year, my goal is to be more self sufficient and hopefully breed some low THC/high CBD autos. Best wishes ✌️

The last two clones I grew out I let go for months, just for the greenery. I harvested a couple ounces off of each. I really couldn't let them go full hog in this room, so I cut a few more clones from them and took them down. The cured smoke is very heavy couch lock stony, tastes a bit of hash. I did save all the clean shake, going to make hash from that. Absolutely perfect for during and after my spine surgery, though.

Yes if you want high CBD this would have worked for you, it's really not what I want at all, but it was a great growing experience.

I probably got about five hundred seeds, give or take. I only pollinated two or three branches. Think I'll end up passing them out to folks who like this sort of Indica analgesia.

On to sativas this year.

That's a huge seed haul, gives me hope for my project this year. Please post pics of the hash that comes off of that shake, I love hash porn :)

Hoping to get a bit more sativa in the garden when my Auto Lemon seeds get here. What're your next strains?

Good luck with your seeds, it was very easy. Timing was the only tricky thing but it was simple. Hardest part is waiting until the plants die back to get the seeds, takes awhile.
I just posted a new thread in the Outdoor Growing section. Ace mixed sativas and a Thai Chi. In about a week I'm getting Darkling from the Rev., going to run those Clone indoors, seed plant outdoors. I've got a few autos going but they will end up house plants.
Darkling is Thai stick sativa with a few other old IBL strains.

As far as the hash, hoping the store will sell me some dry ice (that's a 'grocery' right?) lol
