Indoor taiga and polarlight #2 in dwc under l.e.d

I ask the value 1.6EC is the EC value that contains the water?

Can only communicate with google translation

I wonder if you can not understand the meaning?

Thank you

I am curious is there a reason u have the carbon scrubber on the floor?

I almost wondered about that scrubber too but as a person that is always laughing at people's questions I took a second thought and realized its pulling in air not pushing it out, like a car filter.
My main question is why do you not filter your water the ph of tap water here can go as high as 9.0 and a zero water filter will get your ppm down to 0ppm from like 125ppm and your ph down to 4.5. and its so much cheaper then a reverse osmosis setup. Is this as big a deal as I think it is? I guess not based on your results but maybe at least wile your flushing. Also I have the same ph tester you do and calibrating that thing is a pain Im not sure I got it right.

well to answer your questions it goes as follows

the carbon filter is on the floor because its pulling the heat down over the plants to control the enviroment better, l.e.d gives off very little heat so i have to try and keep the grow room at a resonable temps

my tap water is good for growing and has a very low background ec, im in the uk so our water is different to usa, my ec is 1.6 which includes all the nutrients

my ph meter is amazing and its my favourite piece of equipment, it even tells me when i need to re-calibrate it , i could'nt perform a grow with out it by my side and its 100% accurate

hope this helps

:booya: looking great Seymour. I'm still rooting for that Polar Lights. You can never write you off and I'd bet my bank roll on you smashing the 30/50 gram mark. I'd take 1-1 odds on you doubling
It to tell ya the truth. So I read your going
To start a new grow? What strains are you going with or are you still in the planning stage? to you on whatever your decision is and I'll be watching :pop:

The girls are lookin beautiful seymour, another quick question while im here, im growin the think different like you did and my leaves have started to brown at that young early age like your's did, i was wondering if it was because my ppm's were to high cause i mean even when it comes out my tap its at 360ppm which is high and by the time ive added my sensi a and b and my voodoo juice its at like 500ppm it this to high at this early stage in the plants life???stange tho cause the root structure is lookin quite good with loads of hairs on them. :peace:

I couldn't agree more. If you're growing in hydro in any form you gotta have a good meter.
I would love the blue lab but it was a bit pricey at the time so I got h&m ones. Still very accurate

Happy growing

it could be anything from over feed to ph reading, i try and check my ph meter at least once a week to make sure its 100% i know this isnt necessary but having the plants out of range can be the difference between a good grow and a bad grow, with my "think different" this is what my problem was

my ph pen is the new bluelab one, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and it has a years warranty

the taiga is getting really big at the minute and stands at 95cm tall, she is trying to dominate the space, both plants are feeding about 2ltrs a day and the polarlights has thc forming on her leaves, bless her she is also the most sensitive to nutrients but i have faith that she will still produce the goods

the aroma is getting quite heavy now as well ive got a nutty hazy smell filling the grow space if that makes sense lol

can anybody believe that these only yield 30g-50g per plant in ideal conditions??

if dutch passions have any job vacancies for a decent grower you better send me an apllication form although i will charge top hourly rates haha :D not looking to shabby for only 300 watts of l.e.d if im being honest

If I remember correctly the Barneys Farm auto is little cheese. It's supposed to be a low yielder but very good smoke. I'm sure you'll take care of the low yielding part :D
