I guess I have become a little caught up in this growing thing. I have been on a roll with everything around here. Since my wife appears to be in remission, and is now part of a clinical trial for long term maintenance drugs, many things have changed here. We are eating differently etc and growing many things ourselves. I have been acting a fool and starting all kinds of things.

So the first candidate in my catch all grow thread is Dinafems OG Kush Auto.

I have a grow of ET Dragons going (5 plants), I have a Photo CBD strain in veg, (currently 1 mother plant and 1 clone) and I drop an OG Kush on top of all that. What was I thinking?

So it's done and I have a 4 day old 4 inch tall Kush baby. I just shifted her grow cube into a small peat pot of a new soil mixture I am going to try. I picked up a bag of General Hydroponics CocoTek coco growing medium And I found some Organic soil which comes mildly amended with Kelp meal, bat guano and worm castings which I purchased 5 bags of (some for the garden). I mixed this about 50% soil, 30--35% coco and remainder perlite. Once this was all properly mixed together I added Myco's and some additional powdered amendments. Then Mixed, mixed, mixed.

I will tier in the Kush when it is time to a larger pot to give it some leg room. She will be getting fed General Hydroponics General Organics line of nutrients. i will begin very weak feedings after week 1 and slowly work her up to full strength. So all that is left are pics and i don't do infant pics, wait for em.

:pop: Subbed and wishing good health to you and yours Mr. Tag ... :vibes:

Ok so I lied (again) I do have a pic for ya, check out this leaf.

Right above it is it's "Bud" which flowers into this.

That is known as a Texas Star, nontropical hibiscus. I been waiting for the cops to come ask me about that one.

I also lied about feeding little Kushy. This morning I mixed new nutes and couldn't help myself, she got a small dose of weak nute water after I watered the baby ETs and everyone else. So the next day or 2 will tell me if I overdid it or not.

Good to hear about your wife being in remission.
I love hibiscus flowers, all the varieties. Luckily we have some native to the southeast.
I'm finishing up some kush type plants for my first grow. They seem to be pretty tolerant of my mistakes such as overfeeding so your plant will probably just grow faster now.

That's what I'm hoping for.

Alrighty, "Kushy" is now in her forever pot, and ready to start getting busy. I was supposed to receive a new LED on Fri but missed the delivery and must wait until tomorrow. I really could have used that light. But it goes straight into the tent upon arrival. I have also decided to do another stupid thing. About 30 days from now I am also going to pop an OG Kush Fem Photo from Reserva Privada that I have. I have had this "freebie" for a couple of years, so not sure if it will even pop. But if it does make it, it will be around 30 days old when I flip the tent to 12/12. So I can try Dinafems auto version then have the photo version follow up. I like the plan.

Quick update on little Kushy. The new light arrived yesterday and was immediately placed into the tent. It really brought the lumen level up in there, effectively doubling to 600W of LED lighting in the space. Kushy has responded well to the additional lighting and the fact that now it is directly in the foot print of light and has grown noticeably in the last 24hrs. Kushy has been receiving waterings with a small amount of BioRoot and Diamond Black, but will begin getting dilute nutes in a watering or 2. Again, I would like to ramp her up on nutes fairly quick and keep em heavy if she'll let me. But we are off to the races now and she is just auto piloting this in.

Been a couple of weeks since my last update and alot has changed here. At day 15 I decided what the hell, I'm gonna try a Faded Fim job. Yeah, yeah, I F'd it up and ended up topping the poor little thing. Then Bam, little Kushy took off. She has more than doubled her size in the ten days since topping and is displaying what will soon be 6 main cola's. All pretty damn even in height and getting bushier. This is going to be an interesting finish. Since Kushy is at 25 days right now she should start popping pistils any hour now. She will look great with some white hair. Take a look so far.

Update Day 25.

I was unaware of any color deviation from norm, but some of the leaf stems have tuned red in the days since she was topped. So who knows. I just can't believe the growth spurt she went into. I'm just trying to stay a step ahead of her for now with enough nutrients to keep her adding size at this rate for as long as I can.
