Lighting TAGs perpetual grow.

Kushy is really doing great and I am really psyched about the possibilities here. Today is day 30 and Kushy is at 29.5" tall this morning. She has added more than 21" in the 15 days since she was topped. Other than the growth spurt, there isn't much to report. She is being fed nutrients at the full strength rate of 10ml BioThrive Grow, 10ml CaMg+, 5ml Bio Weed, and 10ml liquid fish fert added to 1gal of bubbled rainwater, ph'd to right around 6.5. Currently the tent is on a 20/4 light schedule. All MarsHydro Led lighting, 1 96x3 reflector series and 1 60x5 new style full spectrum.

Quick update. Day 32ish and Kushy is still growing like crazy. This morning I checked her and she is as tall as she is old. 32" tall and like overnite the little darling got all fuzzy. Flowering is on!!! I've had to raise the lite again to maintain some separation. I really like this topping thing!!!!!

Update again: Actual Day #36. Kushy is obviously a different beast than the strains I have "dabbled with" before. Is it the lineage or the response to topping on day 15? I measured Kushy again today because even though I knew I had raised the light yesterday, she still appeared to be closer than I like. The little girl grew 2.5" in the 24hr period between the last measurement and todays measurement. INCREDIBLE. Kushy is now 34.5" tall, a gain of 28" in the 21 days since topping. And I am really liking the structure and potential for production. Kushy now has 4 main Colas and 2 additional main stems that are just a few inches shorter. As I mentioned yesterday, the night before last, Kushy like exploded with little fuzzy spots as she screamed into flowering. So now I am able to better visualize what this plants potential could be. Now I'm anxious again.

Update day 38 and Kushy continues to climb sky ward, she stands 37"+ at this mornings measure. The buds are becoming more visible and really shows where she is headed. The last 2 waterings were straight bubbled water, next I am going to begin easing her into bloom nutes and taper off on the grow nutes. At the next feeding she will get 3ml BioThrive Grow, (down from 5ml), 2ml BioThrive Bloom, 1ml Bio Bud, 5ml CaMg+, 3ml Bio Weed all added to 1.9L of aerated rain water, phd to between 6.0--6.5. Pics soon.

Me likey the LEDs. Second grow under LEDs and these buds are tighter than my last grow. I'm also liking the results of topping the Dinafem OG Kush. Day 41 and she is 40+ inches tall and coming along nicely into flower.
More to come soon.

Time for an update and maybe some pictures later.

Day 47 for Kushy (the Dinafem OG Kush Auto) she has stretched a little bit more since going into flower and is looking great with more than 100 bud sites. She is somewhere north of 41" and the buds are already gaining size. She has become top heavy and I had to add a couple of bamboo stakes to allow for tying her up. I also had to re-arrange the tent today to allow for Kushy's height.
The 96x3 LED has been lifted all the way and is hanging directly from the top support bars in the tent. To raise it any further I will need to remove the cable hangers and figure out a new mounting method. But so far I really like this OG. So much so that I was going to start a photsensitive OG Kush from Reserva Privada to get back to back grows of what is supposed to be the same strain in Auto and Photo. But the Reserva Privada did not germinate and sprout. SOOoooo I started an Emerald Triangle Bubba 76 which is now 5 days old and living in its forever pot in the tent. The other photo sensitive plants in the tent are really doing well and this now leaves me with 4 plants for flowering when I flip the tent 12/12. Just waiting on Kushy to finish.

Postin up. So, I can remember to check this out later. My brains to stoned and tired to read anymore lol. I will be back, and check you out. Peace brother!

Day 55 for Kushy and wow. I have pics and I think you can agree, topping did not hurt this little girl at all. I just may come right back and do a multi plant OG Kush auto grow for comparison. She looks great and is starting to get some smell to her and she is definately stinky when you squeeze a bud. I would love to comment on her smell, but again I am so inexperienced with growing and smoking that I just don't have a mental database from which to make educated comments. I am slowly gathering info however. So far I have grown an Amnesia and I felt that she smelled of diesel while growing when touched, after a bit in the jars, she would really smell like diesel and cat pee when ground up. The ET's have a very similar smell in grow and I haven't really had any cured yet so I can't speak to the cured smell, But when ground for vaping, she has a sweet diesel smell right now. Kushy on the other hand smells very much like a shallot to me. A pungent garlic and onion scent, but in a good way. Kushy is also looking more sativa like and sitting next to MOM (a shark shock cbd photo fem from dinafem)gives a great contrast.

Kushy also got a trimming this morning. I cleaned out the undercarriage and got rid of some of the excess fan leaves low on the plant. I figure that as she winds down, she should be about 3 weeks from harvest I would guess, I will slowly remove fan leaves to push the nutrients to the buds. If the plant loses a few leaves every few days it should go into defense mode, and make more resin and thc to fend off its attackers. Since the environment is good she should respond well. We'll see.

Bubba (a bubba 76 fem photo from emerald triangle) is now 13 days old and looking good. I haven't decided whether I want to top her or not yet though and time is coming when I must act. So much drama.

Another quick update. I had to apply some bondage to Kushy today. Her buds are starting to add some weight and the 6 main stems(the result of a topping at day 15) were beginning to droop. Since I had already placed a couple of bamboo stakes in the pot, I wrapped some soft plant tie around the 6 stems and tied to one of the stakes. Just enough to keep them upright in 1 place. But with tightening up the plant structure, I also removed some more of the fan leaves higher in the column to open it up for better light penetration.(Fear not though, the stripped leaves will be used in juice tomorrow morning)

I also noticed today that Kushy is starting to show a dusting of resin on the leaves close to the buds. Just the lightest dusting reflecting the light. Looks good though.
