I have to tell you about the funniest (my wife thinks it's disgusting lol) thing. I have a sick sense of humor anyway but the last month a few times I have walked into the grow room and man it smells like Farts! Seriously like sulphur, rotten eggs, like someone just cut a cheesy ass fart! LOL I have been scratching my head over this...

Well, today I walk in there just after the lights came on and it smelled like farts again. So I'm like that's it I gotta sniff this one out. Well I start sniffing the tops of the big girls and sure enough the Syrup smells like FARTS! LMAO this strain has secret genetics or something because I can't find what it is anywhere. And now I know why! The stem smells like peachy diesel and so do the buds but for some strange reason the very top of the cola smells like farts. My wife says cabbage lol she hates it. LOL it just cracks me up I don't know why. It is nasty but it amuses the shit out of me! LOL I keep reassuring her that it surely won't taste like farts! But, she's skeptical...

Well Boys & Girls it's time for an update! Hope you all are well and had a GREAT Christmas! Or whatever you celebrate, I hope it was a great one!

Chopped the Pineapple Express. She finished early as usual! 53 days and she was all milky and a bit amber. She got twice as strong after curing! Love this strain!

The Syrup has secret genetics... I can't find them anywhere, even on the database. So I was shocked to find her (in addition to the fart smell LOL which I haven't smelled since!) almost IDENTICAL in taste to the Burmese Kush (BuKu). I swear if you sold me this Syrup and told me it was BuKu I would be fooled! She smells like peaches still. Actually when we tested a nug and I trimmed her up all I could smell was fresh peaches. It's awesome. And her taste and bud tightness is IDENTICAL to the BuKu. I feel a need to stress that. She must have Kush in her genetics for sure!


I wish I would have known that these Flash Babylon ladies were going to be AMAZONS! Seriously they take up HALF the friggin' closet! They are both over 30"! FB 1 is 36" and FB 2 is 31". I have a feeling they will be way above average yielders... To me they have the total Northern Light structure... What do you guys think?

Auto Assassin NEVER EVER disappoints me. EVER. I've said it before and I'll say it again... This strain is ALWAYS in my line up! First, the Big Girl at 53 days and 2 & 3 at a month old. If you notice lol AA2 is a bit of a Wild Child! She's a mutant I believe but I haven't seen any hermi parts show up so I'll keep my fingers crossed! She's the most unique thing I've ever seen! LOL

I did get a few hundred beans off the Pineapple after dusting her with Speedy Gonzales so I'm excited to see how that cross will turn out when I have the time to try it out! LOL The Syrup also has a good amount of beans as well as the AA. Speedy did a good job! LOL Least he got his way with the ladies before I chopped him! :firedevil:

When i grew my syrup out i noticed a flucuation in smells from a babies diaper to fruity goodness. She goe's through phases but comes out with a very sweet fruity smell so don't worry about those fart smells

I never found any lineage on the syrup either when digging for more information...all they really tell ya is that it is a combination of 5 of the "sweetest" indicas...

Hey Spels! Thanks for that info on the Syrup. I think we are the only ones to grow it out on here so far... But, I don't get around the forum much lately, the jungle keeps me busy as hell! So I may be wrong about that LOL We can already start to smell the fruit smells coming out of her. She's going to be a tasty one! She's GLISTENING with resin it's incredible. AND she's fattening up very fast. Looks like she'll be a fast finisher meaning once she starts to progress it's a quick finish. Thanks again for following my grows! I need to catch up on yours as well!

Hey Sniper! The Pineapple is the only one that's been chopped. They were mature because she got it as soon as she popped pistils so I got a grip of good mature beans, 5 weeks to mature. I can see and feel the calyxes on the AA & Syrup. Some of the calyxes on the main stem at the nodes of the AA and Syrup were splitting and peeling back and off the bean and I didn't want them to drop off and germ so I plucked those off as I saw them.

I didn't get the more mature FB but she has a few calyxes with beans on her that Speedy got to. I may dust the other FB that just started flowering really good. Haven't decided with what yet BUT I am definitely going to do it in the next 12 hours if I do. Either that or buy some more FB's for breeding next. Yeah, I don't think they are stretched either. I had thought that at one point and lowered my light but I had to raise it back up because they were literally growing inches and inches per week. The one was stunted, I thought, then BLEW up to 37"! Have you ever grown out Northern Lights? I'm telling you bro THIS is the AUTO NL! It's just got the unique name LOL Flash Babylon to me IS the Auto NL everyone has been trying to find. I don't know why they hide it behind the name... These FB's are nuts dude. I was totally not expecting them to be like this... They are almost lemony in smell. A cross between that piney BuKu taste and the Lemon Pheno.

The buds are pure white. It's 100% sativa. I mean skinny long fingers for fan leaves. It's cool to see the Syrup and FB next to eachother lol picture perfect Indica and Sativa lol It looks like a damn tree. The satellite colas, which are numerous, are filled with bud almost clear down to the main stem. Plus, they even have buds branching off! I've never grown anything like this so I'm exstatic right now! The more mature one (I say this because she's younger but will finish first) will be 60 days on the 14th so I'm really hoping the next two weeks are going to see the buds getting fatter and thicker! They are drinking like horses as well. They get lighter than air in 2 days. Sorry to go off on a tangent about these Flash Babylons but I've just seen so many people begging for an Northern Lights strain that WILL auto and this is the one! And thanks to Herbie's I discovered this for free! So that leads me to my added curiosity about the Shot Adrenaline (also Samsara) and how it will turn out because it is also well over a foot right now at about a month old and interesting enough it's a White Dwarf cross. White Dwarf is by Buddha seeds, same as Syrup lol so I'm liking these Samsara and Buddha strains so far! Hope you had a great Christmas bro!
