They are starting to explode.
The Tangelo Rapido now takes almost the whole surface of the pot. Both plants have tight internodes, probably because of the close proximity of the lights. The bulbs are placed in such a way that the Tangelo Rapido receives more yellow spectrum light, while the Sweet Skunk - more bright white light.
Anyway, I am happy that they survived the initial stress that was caused by the fucking Jiffy pellets and are now doing well in their new soil.
With that said, I expect them to remain quite small. This could be a blessing in disguise - I really don't want super large plants because I am not sure I will be able to control the smell. With smaller plants, I hope there will be less stink to deal with.

Now, I think that the Sweet Skunk is starting to pre-flower. Check out the photos below and tell me what you think.
I also wonder how much will they stretch during the flowering stage.

Looking good man, ive got a 300w cfl going too tho its a single dual spec, so smaller footprint.
Those are indeed some preflowers, but I wouldnt be too sure bout them staying small lol my girls took a bit of a beating, between breaks, bad drainage and risky transplants.
To top it off preflower started around day 20 so I thought theyd be dwarves, but around the 30 day mark they just exploded and doubled in size by day 50!
As far as smell goes, I hear a lower temp/humidity helps.
Are ya planning any lst?

Looking healthy now! Looks like she showing for you. If you still have gnats, I find they like a nice rosé wine. I will usually put some in a tin or plastic tray on the soil or next to the pot, they will drown themselves (a bit harsh I know).
I also keep CFL's a few inches from the tops with a fan to dissipate the heat. Good luck :toke:

Hey man, it is nice to meet another CFL guy on the Autoflower Network. I thought I was the last one in existence - people are now running fancy LED panels and stuff. But it is too risky for me to purchase LED grow lights, so I keep it as low key and as ghetto as I can.
Yes, I was planning on LST-ing the ladies, this is why I drilled those holes under the rim of the pots, however, with them being so small, I don't know if LST will be practical or even possible.

Thank you for your help, man. I no longer have gnats - the new soil is so sterile, it does not have gnat eggs in it. From now on I will buy this brand only - it is clean and the ladies seem to love the nutes that come with it as well.
On my previous grow, I used a cup of beer to drown the gnats. I hear vinegar attracts them as well. Luckily, I don't have that problem anymore.

Thanks for following my modest grow, guys. I really appreciate it.

I was going for cheap tbh lol I definitely think lst would be a good idea, itll help keep your canopy wide and level. With cfl penetration isnt great so a wider canopy definitely helps. Ive a journal going on my grow if ya wanna have a look

No worries pal, this place is fulla sound growers who are more than happy to help ya out! I owe half my crop to the info I got here lol

Today I added the last and largest CFL light - a 105 Watt, 2700K bulb. They are now receiving flowering color temperature.

I also measured the pH, moisture and light intensity, using my soil probe.
The pH is around 7, on the alkaline side. Don't know if this is a good or a bad thing in theory, but in practice, the ladies are loving it.

I am wondering, since they are in pre-flower: should I cut down on the Nitrogen and should I start giving them flowering nutes?
Been feeding them only worm castings tea so far.

A little update. They are growing at a fast rate.
The stem on the Sweet Skunk is thickening and is pumping nutes in them flowers.

The Tangelo Rapido is a fucking monster. It was left for dead, but it went from this to this in just 2 weeks.
Fantastic genetics by Barney's Farm !!!
