Just realized I have the wrong nutrient line on my first page. Ignore all references to advanced nutrients. This grow is strictly organic with the BioTabs starter kit. I gave three tabs in each autopot and have only given them some Orgatrex and Bactrex a couple times during the grow so far. They have been sprayed with Boom Boom spray a couple times. Other than that they have only been drinking declorinated tap water.

I just followed directions and stuck them whole in the coco, five cm down.

Ok boys and girls, sorry I gave been even busier than usual lately and have had the BioTabs and Autopots running the show.

Here we are at day 52 and I just had to step in and do something probably stupid, but have been dying to try it out. It's called bud based defoliation and most I'm sure will say it's crazy, especially with autos, but I said what the heck, what's the worse that can happen. They are both healthy specimens and should handle the stress. Thanks to @Biotabs F69 I now have some of their PK tea and I brewed some up giving each girl 500 ml of the tea. Also reserved a little after straining to use as a foliar.

I just switched one of the LEDs to bloom mode and will probably wait a week before turning on the other one. In the first pictures you will see the are doing well and using LST have been trained to a fairly even canopy.

I have seen pictures of before and after in addition to the week after doing this and they looked great. Here's hoping the bud sites go crazy because of what I did to the girls.

Yes, that is pretty much what I did. I left even the lowest bud sites alone. I have defoliated before but never to this extent. It's based on an article I read over on another site. I have wanted to try this for some time and have enough meds to carry me through if this screws up my harvest so I just did it. :smoking:
