Sweet Seeds Sweet Cheese and Dark Devil in Coco!

Yeah i ran closer to78-80 buti swer its not all the climate that turns them purp
If its in the Genes they will get purple

what amazes me about this dark devil is it has been 100% outside and the temps here haven't been below 85 since it was started. the pictures really don't do the plant justice . im following a few dark devil grows that has just started up and im curious if any will turn as dark as mine or if i got some kind of rare pheno.

Outside. Evening temps bud. They had to drop below 85. It makes a world of difference.

true didn't really think about night temps been low to mid 70s at night

R-man} I'm still waiting for color to start on both RP's, but it's bit to early to tell for sure yet.... Sweet Seeds states that about 20% will not form the color, so here's some purple :karma Cloud: toward us being in the other purple 80%! :wiz: The older one should show signs soon, but timing can be strain variable... *** Jaxl- I don't know this for a fact, but Buddahs' Purple Kush may have common ancestry with this line-up... mine went deep purple at the very first calyx! Now on the other hand, one of my MoB's (Maines' Own Blueberry), well into budding, has just recently shown purple in a calyx, but the other, slightly further along one has not shown any hint,... :shrug:Time will tell... truly cool temps and late maturity can bring these colors out for those who have the gene expressed to some degree... Hmmm, a visit to Tommy and Jaypp's grows should shed some light on this by scoping their pics to see how soon their plants showed color...:D: good excuse to go perv-out on summa dat porn! It's for research,.. yeah, research...! That's the ticket!! :smoke: .....Swampy right!... if the gene is switched on, there's no stopping it! Jaxl, if you've not had a look at their grows, you'll love what you see! The color intensity is there deep as any outdoor....

Waira my Black Cream in the subcool has gone purple. Its still to early on this dark devil but I can tell you the graft DID work . I'll update Sunday and show the graft joint. :peace:

:gthumb:. You might get lucky this time and not have a monster on your hands. Will never forget that one.

And I see you are a protege of Stunted. Did he share any secrets besides--be gentle when contorting them--:kitty:.

Hey Alan, how are you liking the coco? That monster.....no more of those please. Good lessons though. Stunted and herbal have both been an influence and these old coffee table books my mom had. Grafting and bending. Bonsai!!! I just love that stuff. It really like therapy for me man. Gets my mind off crap for a while and gives me something to focus on. :smokebuds:

I am sold on coco. Rather--your copyrighted saying--which, I need permission to publish--herein. :Stones slap: Coco the only way to go and have PH in check.

I have one that is teasing me. A tall KVS. Almost comical looking. I prefer the medium to small ones. They mature quicker.

The AKR I have was planted a few weeks later than the rest. She is tiny compared to my last one and ever so very tiny compared to your monster. More of a single cola plant.
