OLD REVIEWS Super Cali Haze Anyone Try It or Grow It?

A lot opf what has been said in the last five posts is the truth. The supers are much too big for indoors. I grow a photo that is just as quick as the supers. Except for the fact that SCH is a sativa and I don't have any fast photo sativas. So what is the point. I can clone off of it and have never even tried with an auto. Has anyone cloned one of the slow autos like SCH? I will probably grow the SCH next year again and try and clone it for the fun of it.

Super autos contain no ruderalis. Stitch, the breeder, won't specify what was used (can't blame him).

Igot a super cali haze freebie seed some time last fall from the Attitude. Germed it this spring but it didn't auto. No biggie though, because i was wondering how the ruderalis would affect the photoperiod. I got one clone off of it, and the mother with 3 main tops.

Gee no ruderallis. I might as well be growing my BeeJay outside it is just as quick as the Super with better bud tightness and more swat just not a sativa type. Any guess Muddy what he is using? Should they even be called autos? Maybe they are just early photos. Any body grow ;them inside under 20/4 lights to actually see if they flower? I feel disalusioned or maybe even tricked.

Oooooooppppppssss! Sorry, forgot that I had already posted in this thread. However, to answer your question Nelson mine was grown indoors under 20/4 lighting and did auto.

I think he calls it Stitch1 but he won't say what it is. It does auto, so not a photo strain. I grew the Super Stinky indoors and it autoed at 5 weeks.

My theory is its a mighty mite or guerilla gold cross as these were supposed semi auto non ruds

Thanks for the info. I was starting to wonder if they were autos at all.

Every one's theory is lagitimate at this point. I guess the only real test is do they auto or not.

From what I understand, they usually auto. Actually I think my one seed that didn't is the exception. And to clarify, he used a local strain of ruderalis (which is any cannabis tht escaped cultivation), but he did not use any lowryder ruderalis

Ruderalis is something I know so little about. In the Kingston area we used to have a wild cannabis that grew north of the city. They all called it ditch weed. It was totally useless to smoke and always seemed to be full of seeds. Was it ruderallis? I sure don't know. I have heard of Russian ruderallis and Mexican ruderallis. Does different ruderallis have different effects on the crosses people use to make autos. I don't know but I would love to find out. Time to weigh in all you experts like Muddy and Wix or any of the rest of you who may know something.

He used a ruderalis from a place with a short season (I think I heard him mention hungary), but not as short a season as the mini arctic ruderalis. He tested the local ruderalis under 24 hr light and it autoflowered, but at a larger size than lowryder.
This is why he thinks it is better suited for these larger autos he is breeding, and why he thinks it is so superior to lowryder derived strains.

Nelson, grow a seed of that out in your veg cabinet. If it flowers under 24 hours of light in a timely manner (2-7 weeks or so), then for our purposes we would call it ruderalis. You would be able to cross it to photoperiod strains, then inbreed to find the auto trait. In fact, if you started a line with that local strain it would probably bring a lot of pest resistance and immune system benefits to whatever photo you cross it to.
