you will be fine m8 as long as you can keep your ambient temps within 5-8 degrees C of the rest of your house, flying pigs can only see heat that is escaping from your house not the heat thats inside, thats why they can see larger grows in an attic because of the heat that is escaping through the roof tiles. they (cops) want everyone to think that they can see even a 60w incandescant.
the truth is they cant see nearly as much as they want you to belive.

id worry more about noise from fans and light leaks that neighbours might see/hear.

p.s those bulbs are very good all round performance you will be happy with the results if you can control your enviroment:thumbs:

yeah m8, as long as your nicely insulated you'll be fine, if your doing it in the attic i would suggest venting into an upsairs room like the boiler room or built in wardrobe and draw air in from outside if possible and keep your attic door closed as if its kept open most of the heat in your house (from heating) will rise into the attic and cause extra heat that you dont want to build up.
