New Grower Suki's Perpetual Grow-a-thon

As much as I hate giving up on plants, I really don't think this girl is going to make it. I'm starting to think I should repot the WZ and Biscauto into individual 10gal pots and either cull this one or stick her in a small pot and see if she gets any better. Don't really want to put her and the Biscauto into a 20gal only to have her wither and then have a bunch of wasted space.
Hmmm, not looking good. Is she stalled in this state, or still growing? :pighug:

What day is that one on? It's probably just growing massive roots. Let it ride unless you need the space.

Aye, that one on the right.... that's gone well hasn't it?

I'm far from experienced on the solo cup front however, I've observed most of the "good" grows have been in coco. I think it lends itself to the small volume better than soil. Plus St.Tom is the solo master and he is a coco enthusiast.
They're a beastly pair for sure! 20gal seems to be more than enough for a dual pot, and even though they are totally different phenotypes, the taller of the two seems to be leaving space for her sister to get light. Since they can communicate through their roots and the mycelium its my understanding that they can kind of understand where the boundaries of the other plants start and will sort of leave space open for them. Interesting stuff.

Plus, @Jean-O has some damn fine genetics going!

100% agree on the coco thing for solos, seems to work better in that hydro sort of setup.

I'll second the coco vote for solos. Bottom line is that solos are, or will quickly become, hydroponic grows. IMO this is not negotiable with such a small amount of medium, so a grower might just as well dive in and do the job hydroponically with coco/perlite, or as @St. Tom does, with coco/hydroton.

Another issue is that watering and keeping nutes balanced in solos is hard. With coco + aeration stuff, overwatering is unlikely, so I think the key is frequent fertigation to runoff. If you let the coco dry out, the nutes will go out of balance. My current attempt is my first solo rodeo, and I am now fertigating 6 times a day. This may sound a bit excessive, but the plants are big now, and the solos dry out really quickly. Also, I am keeping the RH in my drobe lowish (high 40's to low 50's) in order to avoid the evil mold until the big girls are chopped. One of the big girls has massive colas at very high risk, but so far so good for both the solos and their big sisters.

She's day 7. I'm not so much worried about her being stalled or small or anything so much as her growth looking really odd. She feels crispy almost? And her leaves are super lumpy and are getting a weird brown/silvery spotting to them that I haven't really seen before. I doubt I'll actually get rid of her, but when debating the 20gal dual plant with the Biscauto or putting the Biscauto into a 10gal alone, it had to be taken into consideration.

I'd grow her out, but not use up part of a 20 gallon pot on her if you have good alternatives. If you keep her fed and watered, you might see her pick up a bit, or learn something. You do have other plants... :pighug:

My thoughts exactly lol. Don't want to use up a quarter if the tent on just one plant if she doesn't end up making it. I can stick her in a 5gal or 1gal if she ends up picking up some and squish her in between the 10gal pots. My biggest issue with the 1gal are that they dry out so damn fast, but I think surrounded by the soil mass from the 10gal it should help mitigate that a bit.

I'm dumb lol the SBAK was day 7, she was day 12.

Here's a comparison shot of her vs the now 8 day old SBAK
