Truly unique stunt! Never seen one grown out the side! Does the root getting light not hurt or stress the plant?

Light hitting the roots is not really that bad as it is not much light, but it is also not good as it will make green shit grow.
The green algae growing shouldnt cause any problems unless it is really bad, a few grows back I let one plant pot get lots of algae growing...it did not seem to effect the plant at all.
Some more stones on the top will fix the problem pretty fast, I may also add some H2O2 to today's flood to see if that helps kill the shit.

Duurty needs 50cc's of love real quick. Blowing a cloud for her. Cover them roots and flush! She wants thick colas!

Thanks greenthumper, so far it is working well but I may have made the holes in the pot a bit small....

@stunted this is a great way to deal with height problems.

If you have the lid to the bucket, next grow simply start on it's side until getting too high, then flip on it's side and remove lid.
Why waste height indoor? I gave you a rep for being creative in solving a problem.

Funny you mention the lid....I spent at least 2 hours looking for the lid...I have 4 lids and can find 0, I hate it when I hide shit from myself.
But I think I am better off with no lid as it allows air movement through the stones and I really need to keep the stems as dry as possible.

So that is phase one completed, I have bent the plant more than needed so when the ties are removed it should end up where I want it to be.

I am about to get up and begin Phase 2, this bit wont take long...I hope...

sweet! i had that same box bro! the smaler one was my mother room and the flower flowed into the mech room and exhausted! air intake was in mother and flowed to flower then flowed to mech! all trapped so no light leaked into my other rooms!
