You're turning on the autopot too soon, leaves need to reach the sides of the pot and develop a good root structure.

My schedule for autopot and biotabs is to start off in solo party cups using the instatransplant method till about 7 or 8 days old then prep the autopot soil with all biotab amendments, transplant and water in with orgatrex and bactrex. Turn on autopot res when leaves have reached edge of pot (normally 10 - 14 day from transplant)

thanks for the response Qb. I agree the roots are probably not forming the best structure but it was probably a good 3 weeks or so before I turned the system on, should I have left it longer? I’ve actually stopped the flow of water due to a leak in the valve so won’t be continuing for the time being.

For more context I am going to include images of the older plant in the tent.

The first picture shows what I germinated directly into the pot. This was after my first two which I planted into small cups to be transplanted failed. The growth on both my first two seemed to be stunted in my opinion but I think now it may have been down to overwatering and expecting a little too much on my grow.

Seed in the image below came to soil on the 10th May. Second photo is 17th May and the following two were taken on the 27th.The soil was already premixed with the amendments.

Best advice I can give you.. and others will disagree.. but specifically for your situation right now.. ditch the coco and learn to grow in soil first if possible.. when you have the soil growing down give coco another rattle.

No perlite in the soil. Id recommend using biobizz light mix if you can find it and get some biotabs silicium flash.

@o9ine Oh yeah and get some bio pk for flower. Plants really appreciate the extra nutes during flower.
