Here's the award winner...https://www.dankseed.store/product/samsara-seeds-holy-grail-69-feminized/
I tied down my GG plants from fastbuds. got the stem over 90 degrees and as the top got closer to the edge of the container, I started turning it to the left and kept doing that until I had something of a circle. The entire time I kept the entire canopy level with no high spots. I had coloas everywhere. They were as dense as green pinecones. The pheno wasn't as dense but the buds were huge some over 16 inches...but a bit airyI've heard other similar reports, where there is a pretty wide range of pheno variation, but most of the plants finished really well. Gotta go with what works for you. I picked up some Gorilla Cookies and Gelato, and then I had to throw in some Jack Herer because as a photo that's a favorite. I also got a whole lotta their Green Crack as a freebie with other orders. That should give me a decent sample of their work, I'm just not exactly sure when I'll be popping them.
Thanks for the info. Good thoughts on the crosses. DP does not sell directly to the US, so I don't have access to their sales and haven't used their customer service. The cost of importing and marking them up by the US seed banks makes them on the pricey side for me. Also, when a popular strain sells out (like Cinderalla Jack) you don't know when there will be more. I'm hoping to test some soon, and get a feel for how they produce. If that goes well, I'll probably just perpetuate some of their strains so that I have more on hand. That would certainly dilute the up front cost.I have grown out glueberry and brooklyn They were both very nice. The glue a bit more vigorous but the brooklyn was deliciously deisely orange. I wouldn't hesitate to put more Dutch Passion in my garden. Great customer service. As the Sour Stomper is an auto / photo cross I'd pick that on paper as the Double grape is an auto x auto cross and who knows what the DPs filial generations are at. DP give no freebies but reasonably priced and they have sales.
You ever get around to this? I have some Sour STomper and Glueberry OG and Lemon Kix to Knock Up with it.I have time between now and my summer outdoor to do one pollen run. I will temporarily freeze the pollen, and then pollinate the chosen strain with another plant of the same strain, and also do some single branch crosses for fun with other strains. I have Dutch Passion (haven't actually grown any yet) and Mephisto strains (I have a bunch, but have chosen the two I have on hand that are the most stable). I'm looking for which you would choose and why?
The contenders are:
Mephisto:
Sour Stomper (F7)
Double Grape (F7)
Dutch Passion:
Glueberry OG (?)
Daiquiri Lime (?)
Lemon Kix (?)
Brooklyn Sunrise (?)
Alternative question: Does anyone know Dutch Passion's release paradigm in terms of what generation they go public with? F4, F5, F6, F7...?
Other notes; the person I grow for has loved pretty much everything I've grown for her over the last five years, she's not picky. She does have a very high tolerance and needs potent meds, she prefers Indica fruity flavors but Sativa energetic highs. She goes through a lot, but I grow enough that any mid-to-large sized plants can get us where we need to be.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts --
There was a period of time when it was very difficult to get seeds, and I spent a lot of time and energy figuring out how to make my own. Then things started to become available again, and not knowing how stable supply would be I jumped on every opportunity to buy seeds that I could, eventually collecting more than I will ever grow, so my reason to breed was gone. So, no, I never did make those seeds. Good luck with yours, I hope you'll post your progress. You ever get around to this? I have some Sour STomper and Glueberry OG and Lemon Kix to Knock Up with it.
Your experience and mine look about the same. The dates are only off by one year!I hear you. The person I grow for if given the choice between a delicious but sedate indica or a peppy diesel/skunk sativa, would sacrifice flavor for the kind of high where she can work in the garden or get other stuff done. I myself am more of an end of the day stoner, and prefer an indica leaning hybrid. The lines are blurring with all the crazy hybridization going on.
I was an early 80's stoner too. I remember the first time someone showed me a dense little bud with no seeds in it, and called this mysterious package "sensimilla". We thought he paid a crazy amount of money for it, and went back to our big bags of stuff I'd compost if someone handed it to me today. Eventually we caught up. I didn't smoke between about 1984 and 2004, things really changed during those decades.
