My soil knowledge is good but this is only my second hydro.

She is now 74cm tall, think she's hit her max.

You're right about DP AWW being a light feeder, she didn't like 1.3/1.4 EC so i'm back down to ~1.2.

pH good at 5.7

The airpot is me growing turmeric, i bought some for £10 ($15) for a pound. It takes 8-10 months to grow.

I wash the roots (not scrub or peel) then juice them in a masticating juicer, which gives 40% extra health benefits coz it juices slowly, high speed centrifugal juicers cause friction hence heat that kills the good stuff.

Thanks G, she really didn't like the EC hitting 1.3/1.4, got nasty brown tips started appearing on top but now low down too :

Really pleased with the new light, buds forming right down the bottom and lots of trichomes on the leaf stems.

Looking forward to next grow when it will have been the new light all the way through.

Yeah dude she's lookin great! I see the nute burn but it's not THAT bad lol, I have seen(and done) much worse lol. That is the biggest difference with soil and hydro is the quickness in which you see the effects of different things like nute burn or pH problems. In soil it is much more forgiving when it comes to mistakes, hydro if you put too much fertilizers in you will know it quick! I am an impaient person so that is one of the reasons i like hydro Again great job Steely and I am sending super flower Karma your way friend

Thanks Derek, i just noticed i bolloxed things up!

I checked the levels and her EC was 1.56 !

Dunno how i let that happen, ben that way for 36 hours so no wonder all this extra burn suddenly came in.

I've just set her back to 1.1 EC, 5.8 pH.

Glad i checked today, i wasn't going to!

Woke my gf up carrying water up and down the stairs lol!

LOL to that. If I woke the mrs up carrying water upstairs, there would be blood running down it. Havnt posted for a bit but have definatly been following. She looks great steely, really filling out now. She almost looks like she might topple. Such a big bush coming fromna small bucket. Haha. Well good luck for the remainder of the grow, cant wait to see her when she's done.

Oh believe me I am dealing with the same thing, I let my CalMag definceny get bad thinking it would be ok but negative one of my leaves got hit pretty hard, so I know the feeling when something slips past. I have spent the last two days watching and checking and adding CalMag and checking PH and rechecking PPM's trying to get it under control. Hopefully I will not see any more spread of the damn rust colored spots come tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
