I just wanted to say great job on the pruning, your plant looks incredible professional and cant wait to see them bud out !

then just now I had an idea about your res. water level tube that you are covering with a sock

I always tell people to go with green tubes because then you dont get algae or as much at least but now I got the idea that maybe you could just take a green 500 ml soda bottle and cut the bottom of to fit it over the tube

pet shops with a good aquarium department have all the tubes you need and home brewing stores have all the brushes you ever need to clean out tubes, air filter hoses and such

Day 32. New LED and bucket have arrived.

Day 32 in the HydroBox! (I should stop saying that since there is a commercial tent with the same name!).

My new LED arrived :





It's a 200W Chip-On-Board :



Each module has 32 3-watt LEDs, in the following wavelength configuration :

Deep Red: 660nm, 12 leds
Red: 630nm, 12 leds
Blue: 460nm, 4 leds
Green: 530nm, 2 leds
Hyper Violet: 420nm, 2 leds

So 128 LEDs, each running at around 1.5 watts.



The light cost £160, on Monday i'll spend another £160 on a flowering tent, fan, filter, timer, 4-way extension and speed controller.

The flowering tent is a Secret Jardin DS60 v2.5, 2x2x5 feet high (60x60x150cm) :

I'll use my current cab for vegging.

I finally cut slots in my bucket rather than holes, so i don't have to disconnect the airstones from the airlines every time i do a res-change or whatever :



The plant is doing great :





The new bucket for the flowering tent has a better light-shield that tucks in nicely :



And an indicator tube that loops back into the bucket :



Check the LED info :



"Suggested continuous working time 10-16 hours" ! Ye, right. I'm gonna work this girl harder than that !!!

So by Wednesday next week i will have a great system for one person, the vegging cabinet, the flowering tent, hopefully 4 zips every 5 or 6 weeks.

LOL 'zips', spend enough time on AFN and you start talking American

Quick question, you grew wos akr in soil right? Is there advertised time of 55-60 days sound about right?

Steely you lucky guy. Loving the new editions to your setup. Those lights look like they're gunna have their work cut out for them, but will definatly do the job.a couple pics of the new tent when its set up would be awsome.
Well what can i say about those roots. Its like italians gone mad. Spaghetti everywhere. Looking great though mate. Keep up the good work and we'll all enjoy the fruits of your labour.

I've had a rethink and won't be doing seperate veg and flower tents.

If i grew 4 ounces every 5 or 6 weeks i'd never get anything done, i'm also thinking about electricty costs, noise.

The main thing is i am getting healthy recently, no tobacco anymore, cut down on drinking, the business is taking off.

So four ounces every 10 weeks should be enough.

So i've just ordered a larger tent, the DS90 v2.5 (90x90x170cm = 3x3x5'8inches high) and a new filter :
