!st time with autos, having trouble

Hi #LegalizeLiberty420,

First let me start off by saying I'm happy to hear that the rest of your grow is taking a turn for the better. Secondly, the Royal Queeen NL Auto sounds like a fantastic choice for starting a grow with. I have that on my short list for a future grow I'll be doing.

Now, let's get to the task at hand:

1. Germination: I've tried every germination method out there! The method I finally settled on is the 'shot glass' method. I take a shot glass and fill it about 3/4 full with Perrier water. I drop my seeds in and place the shot glass on a seed germination heating mat in the corner with a coffee mug turned upside-down over the shot glass. 36 hours later the tails are wagging and ready to transfer to soil. It works every single time I start a new grow!!

2. Soils: I originally started growing with just FFOF and realized that it had a harsh effect on the seedlings. They would start off fine and then suddenly go limp and lean over and ultimately die. I then realized that the FFOF runs a bit hot for seedlings to get acclamated to. So now I also add FF Happy Frog to the mix, now I'm always using a 50/50 mix of the 2 products. If you wamted to add more organic mojo to the mix, you could add 1/4 FF Light Warrior, which I hear works very nicely as well. Since making the 50/50 mix switch I haven't had a casualty.

I hope this info helps a little. Good Luck on the rest of your grow and I'll be tagging along to see how everything turns out. Sending some positive green karma your way!!

yes... FF is hot for auto seedlings... also what you're describing sounds like fungus gnats

use mosquito dunks in your water... and get you water's ph up to 6.3 - 6.5 (see my sig for links)
