So this is the third strain ive decide to grow out, I still cosider myself a beginner because im still figuring alot out, my first grow went well, I got one good plant which was basically a stem with all bud (BF Pineapple Express Auto).

I then got some NL Auto which threw me two slow growing plants and again one which was mainly single cola with weak side branching. The two under acheivers were done away with.

I cant put a date on day 1.

As you can see it was looking real pale early on, for 13 days growth though im impressed. It's still small height wise but its spreading out and every node has side branching which have passed a node themselves already.

I can wait for the stretch when it starts flowering, I see one or two of what appear to be calyxes but without pistils.

will update when things get more interesting.

Looking nice. Good luck with these. Cream caramel is a lovely smoke however, I did get non auto's packaged as autos that hermed at the nodes which was a great disappointment so hope this isn't the case for you.

You may notice I avoided calling the plant 'she' I'm hopeful and confident SS will deliver and though I havent heard many cases like yours, I understand these things can happen, so fingers crossed.

little update

She is now putting out pistils, not many right now but its only been 2 days since I noticed. The first post shows that the earliest record I have of her is the picture from the 31st of July, I would probably say today is around day 23-24.

I think I overfed the other day, I use a gallon of water and was cruising at 4.5ml A+B per UK gallon (4.5 litres), I upped this to 5.5-6ml last two feedings and have a few burnt tips, not overly obvious but slight nute burn is there.

I pH my water to between 5.7 and 5.9 at the highest, im working with coco so 5.8 is ideal but acheiving this every time can prove time consuming.

She is 21cm tall and her widest leaf set spans 37cm, how much stretch can I expect? my pot is, at a guess, 10L give or take. the side branching is catching up with the main stem.

I should maybe also mention my nutes, I was using Canna Coco A+B with a shelf date of early 2010, so atleast 3 years old, I got new bottles though so fresher food, the old bottles werent in great shape and I just had this feeling that they could become problematic at some point, the liquid was crystalising around the bottle opening.

she has a 400W HPS all to herself.

I havent fed since last update she'll need it tomorrow but I dont know if I should give her just plain pH'd or more nutes.

little paleness going on.

Sorry I haven't been in here sooner to check your grow. The plants are looking very nice. You've still got a couple weeks of veg to go so they should end up a nice size.

Thanks for popping by Muddy. I saw a piece of advice you left elsewhere about leaving your feed long enough for the pH to stabilise, I take my time now after I stretched out the preparation of her water and inevitably you were right.

It is litte nuggets of info like that which can be the difference between plant health or sickness so I thank you, so obvious but passed me by heh :buds:

She can get as big as she wants she benefits from all the lumen goodness of my HPS.

Glad I was able to help. I'll make sure I get in here more often to check on how you're doing.
