Indoor Squid's Second Grow-Duurty Dragon, Diesel Ryder & MI5

word.... so towel it up with a few... wet towels... make sure your fan sweeps across that...

then towel up the room with a few of the same...

get overall humidity up...

then use a sprayer to mist around the room... avoid getting the plants and leaves themselves wet... just get humidity up... :toke:

in conjunction with the humidifier... and do that 18/6... cuz it will give the GR a chance to cool down a bit more... which will HELP slightly the humidity issue...

Everyone else makes them look easy, lol. And I use Promix BX, man. Thanks, Griever. :smokebuds:

best way for me

i use a any normal seedling mix for seedlings till 4th or 5th set of leaves then transplant
i only ever buy and use 6.5 ph water uno pumpwater thats what i use whole way through

you could also light foliar feed every 3 days ..... just to keep nutes available somewhere till you get sussed... remember to let the plants dry before replacing into hid light tho..

My well delivers 6.5 - 6.8.... I use it exclusively... always start in promix.... ALWAYS... and transplant around same time griever does... before roots get rootbound...

for example... Russian Dragon just got transplanted last night at 18 days from seed drop... they were already hitting the bottom of a 24 oz 7 inch deep cup... and had begun lateral travel.... another 3 days theyd be "rootbound" enough to stunt overall growth...

Thanks JM. I will try that again. I hung up one in the tent for a few days before I got the humidifier, but it didn't change it much at all. And with my temps staying in the low 80s, they dry up pretty quick and I'm not always around to re-wet them and all. I wish there were an easier way.

Edit: I guess either water would work, as far as ph, but if my tap water will work I will be using it. I liked the Spring water because it is around 7.5 ph so when I add nutes, I don't need any ph up. But if I started at 6.5 then it would be super low and I would have to use ph up, which isn't bad. I use Silica Blast for ph up and don't know if it's ok to use all the time. This bag of Promix I got is lower than normal, that's what has been causing issues.

HID lights? I use cfl, TEK lamps. Pl-55 bulbs. I have been thinking about doing foliars and I think I will for sure now.

why promix?

even if they are getting the right humidity for 6 hours rather than 0 out of the grow time (lights on) its better than not at all... take a big shower towel (beach towel)... fold it in 4 layers... (in half twice) soak it... ring out just enough that it wont drip ... take 2 screws.... hang string or wire across between them (space screws / hangers at 24" or so... )

hang towel over it... 4 layers on ech side... soaking wet...

make sure the fan scans across it or blows directly on it...

this made HUGE improvements in my room in this hot weather....

thank god its shutting down soon..

true bro

never heard of promix xD

JM i feel like im learning when your talking

oh CFL... they are HOT!!!!! thats part of your humidity issie... all their heat is given off around them in all directions... an enclosed HID can take 90% of the heat off immediately from the room... eliminates a lot of heat / humidity issues... dont get me wrong... love my CFLs... they just are very hot...
