Indoor Squid's Second Grow-Duurty Dragon, Diesel Ryder & MI5

Cleaning House/Partial Redo

Hey guys. Hope everyone is well.

I played a little clean house today. Couple pics of the three that bit the dust. Three duurty dragons, I bid you farewell, I miss you, and your stunted growth was only my own fault, I am sorry.

I know some of you may say I should have kept going, especially you Captain Cure, I know you could have nursed them back to health, but I didn't want to have a three month grow of stunted plants...again. So out they went. It had been several days since the transplant and the roots had barely moved and the plant hadn't at all. They are pretty damn small for three weeks.

The female MI5 out of the 3 is doing great! Super excited about her, you'll see pics Wednesday. Nice long hairs and getting a little taller, triple the size of that Crit Mass still in there budding from last grow. All green except for a tiny bit at the top from past bleaching, and she has a nice thick stem. :dance2:

The two Diesel Ryders are doing good although a little set back. I am going to wait on them because they are still doing ok and can turn around to my liking, we'll see. And then I kept one DD that is still pretty scraggly but the best one. I am trying to work out something to put it outside to finish and see what happens so it's just hanging out for now.

The two MI5 males in the MailBox on the other end of the house are doing great. Got some fat balls on them! So I will have some MI5 pollen stocked up in a few weeks. Very cool.

I am starting more beans tonight, still haven't decided what exactly. I may start another thread and include the one female MI5, and possible DR that's staying, just to start fresh and clean and not with 20 pages at the start.

Thanks for stopping by I know my grows have been pretty brutal so far.

Good decision squid. Cleaning house early is a good deal. Growing can be stressful when things don't seem to be going well (even on a small scale). Non-growers would find such a statement to be ridiculous, but it is a matter of time and expectations. A bad grow lingers with one for a long time almost worse than losing money at the frickin casino--time and expectations seem more valuable than money. Good luck with the new ones.

Very well put my man. The more time I wait the worse. If I had a huge ass tent I would just move them over and start more that way, but I don't. That beautiful female MI5 will be finishing up as planned on the regular schedule anyway, so I will have some herb in the same amount of time anyway, AND already have MI5 pollen stored, so in a way it's kinda cooler. I dropped five new beans into the water since last post.Just keeping it simple. All five are Duurty Dragons :D

i think id put anything ready for the chop outside somewhere and just return around the time they could be done on the off chance it survived and made any tiny bit of bud.
itd be a nice surprise if it survives.

I know what you mean, man, trust me. But I live in town and it would be tricky and I don't have anyone or anywhere I can get to outside of town easily and all, plus they are shredded and in the bin now anyway. I did keep that one though and plan on putting it outside somewhere, just not all of them.

haha i wasnt trying to guilt you or anything, just what id attempt but i live in a city/town and dont drive and know the feeling.
something that small though i might go for a paranoid bike ride with it in a backpack, since it doesnt really matter if it survives id just ignore being nice to it.
i think im just jealous i couldnt buy duurty seeds when they were up on site.

extra experience for next time anyway. what you starting and when? or did i miss that in there. more duurtys?

.....just saw the huge obvious text there.
im sober but blind...

Sorry to hear Squid! Keep pluggin away and keep the tentacles up,you'll get it!

@bgrt> haha. Thanks dude and now worries on the guilt. I do feel bad and I bet people are like 'what the f Squid? You threw three whole possible four Dragons away?!' But I earned that 420 deal and I paid for them, so they're mine :D I gave 6 of those away as soon as I got them(sadly I know that those will be grown out better than I can currently, :D) lol Like I said I didn't really want to, just didn't want to deal with stunted plants again, it was aggravating me knowing that I had kinda screwed it up again so I wanted to start over, screw it. It's all good, this cephalopod is not worried.

And yes, 5 more DDs are in for the 24 hour soak right now, then another day of paper towel in tupperware, then into the ocean.

@fullauto> Thanks man, right? One of these days!

true true, you should destroy any other duurty seeds you have and take pictures just to show your right to do so and confidence in this run. :hot:

good luck with these ones anyway

I don't think I wanna take it that far...not yet :) I should have plenty of DD beans of my own after this run.
