Indoor Squid's Second Grow-Duurty Dragon, Diesel Ryder & MI5

Hello hello people. Day 12 for the MI5 and DDs. The MI5s are a fair bit larger than the DD, guess that's normal. And all of the DDs are showing a little yellowing, but doesn't really look like nute burn, only on two are there ever so slightly 'burned' tips. I have sprayed them a few times with ph water and a pinch of epsom salts, but I didn't want to over do it though. It seemed to help some. Not altogether too worried about it as I am sure they will grow out of all of this, now I know that they are extremely nute sensitive. The MI5s on the other hand can take it.

The two DRs are coming along fine at Day 7 I believe. Also not as big as either the DD or MI5s were at one week. There is a possibility that I overwatered a smidge with these, and maybe a couple DDs. I know I know, don't yell at me please :D I get antsy, what can I say.

Plus sides here: We are at Day 12 and the MI5s especially are ready for a watering. Should I start 1/4 strength veg nutes on them? They are beautiful green and no signs of burns or anything.
I think I can maybe hold off on feeding the DDs, water or nutes, until tomorrow or Wednesday Week 2(14 days). Any suggestions?

And the other awesome plus...when I was inspecting all the plants, I noticed what seemed to be little pisils popping out from where the stem meets the little branches. Now I don't have a ton of personal experience with sexing/auto-ing, but they really don't look like more leaves or branches, those are more obviously green and not hair-like like these are. So I was like hells yeah, lemme check these other ones, and I'll be damned if every single one that is showing anything is showing those little hairs in the same spots. All four MI5, and three of the DDs, the one yellowy one that is smaller isn't showing yet, and of course the DRs aren't either, too early.

I couldn't snap any pics before their bedtime, but I will post some after four when they wake up. If they really are all female; for one, I don't have room for them all and two, I wanted some damn males to breed with. lol We'll see I suppose.

I am open to any suggestions on anything, much appreciated fellow AFNs.

What's your light schedule? I run my girls 24 hrs. under my T-5's from beginning until harvest.

It sure sounds like you have all girls. Can't wait for the pics.
I was timid at my first nute feed, and went with a 1/8th dose. I don't think it could hurt to give them a little taste.

PakaloloHui~he's runnin' them 20/4. just fig'd id help. It is suggested by most people that auto's thrive under 20/4. More than that is a waste of energy, although i have seen alot of people run 24/0 for the first couple weeks through seedling stage.

Yes, growbee is dead on. 20/4 for me. I was thinking about 24/0 for the first couple weeks and I still want to try this with my next grow, but I have one that is flowering in there with my new ones so I kept it on the same 20/4. Although I have seen great results 24/0 throughout, common sense will tell you that your plant needs to sleep sometimes. Even like a 22/2 or something. I'm gonna experiment with that on my next run. I passed out early off of some Dramamine my woman made me take earlier. When I checked on the tent and gave a second look, some still looked like hairs and one I think had formed into more veg growth. 12 days is pretty early, and I've never grown Regular beans and had to sex, so in all honesty, I am just not sure.

I know I said I would post some pics, but I don't feel well today, so I decided to just wait for more pics on the regular weekly pic update on Wednesday. It'll take time to get some good pics of those tiny little hairs and I just don't feel like doing all that right now, sorry folks. Plus, it could very well be an early call on the sex and I don't wanna get myself or you guys excited and then it change in a couple days.

I have also decided to hold off on their first veg feed until either tomorrow or Wednesday. The MI5s could drink now, but they'll be fine, and the DDs still need to dry out some., need to rule out over-watering, too. When the time comes, I plan on giving my MI5s a 1/4 strength feed and my DDs an 1/8 strength feed.

Hey guys. Well I've made it to Week Two Day 14. In my honest opinion I would say it's going totally and completely decent. It could be better, but it could surely be worse. Oh the two Diesel Ryders in the middle are at Day 9, you'll be able to tell.
Except for the DRs of course, all of the others got their first veg nute feed yesterday. The MI5s got 1/4 tsp. per gallon BioGrow and Root, and DDs got 1/8 of the same. Most have shown a pretty sweet growth spurt just since then. Ph in was 6.66:firedevil: and runoff was anywhere between 6.35-6.5 throughout the 7 plants. Great stuff I tell ya. Love having a nice ph meter.

I am rather proud of the MI5s, even the paler one, that is the one that was bleached from the light being too close last week, it has gotten a little better. There are slight tints here and there of yellowishness on these but so very little. They look great overall I think. I have a few closeups of two of the biggest really green ones, one of which I think is female and the other looks like little pods or male flowers, I could be wrong, see for yourself. I got the best pics I could get, sorry if they aren't great.

I just don't know what's up with the DDs, I'm no Dragon Hugger I suppose. There's one that just looks like a runt, the others are doing ok, just not as well or large as the MI5s, not to mention all the yellowing still. I'd definitely enjoy a little help with these(hint hint, Captain Cure and Muddy, :D). They aren't doing awful, I'm just kinda stumped for now. There might be some tiny hairs on these like I thought the other day, but they might just be leaves forming. No closeups of those as it's really hard to capture and tell what they are now, still Day 14, it's ok.

The Diesel Ryders are fine, coming along slower than the others were but still good. The one that is technically a day behind has caught right up quite well.

I mixed up some Promix BX with some extra perlite and filled five 5L Airpots for the hopeful five best looking females, and two 1Gal Rootbuilder pots for two hopeful best looking males. I don't have enough Airpots for the males or the space for that size pot where they are going to be kept, but the RB pots are cool and similar. I wish they would go ahead and show me their down stairs mix-up so I can tier these bad boys and girl. I don't want them to get rootbound and don't have space for all of them.

There are two overhead shots, one side shot, the 3 individual MI5s then closeups of the two that I told you about. Then individual shots of each DD and DR.
Enjoy :dance2:

Nice squiddy! That's a whole shitload of power for seedling stage, do you have all the lights on them? How close are they? A couple of those photos looked a lil like light bleaching.

Lookin good Squid! Is the yellowing from lack of nitrogen? i'd say a little early for calmag issues.

All that's running now is the Tek lamp no side T5s. And it's at 18 inches. I backed it up last week when Muddy said I had bleaching, am I still experiencing this, should I back it up to damn 24 inches?

Not sure, if so it should clear up in 2-3 days from their feeding yesterday. Thanks for stopping by, man.
