Thanks DubV. I plan on wrangling them down the best I can. It takes a while to really stabalize it, but if I can get some good crosses and get what I want out of them, I'll be happy.

I have heard similar things about Stitch's strains but they are beasts and great smoke, pretty much every time from what I see. And those are the only other three strains I have. It should be about 50/50 on the males and females. I will have 8 going and will be happy with 4 females. I can only fit about 5 and that will be crowded. I do have some nice fem seeds though. I could grow one of those just to make sure I have a fem for some smoke, since I wouldn't ever cross with her. I just wanted to keep it down to one or two strains because it's harder to deal with all the different ones at once. Thanks for the thought.

I am asking because I am starting to breed my third stain now and i had to consider all these factors before deciding on my first cross which was positronics afghan hash plant (picked for its good size high resin and pine forest odour) and STITCH'S purple mazar (for colour)

I can tell you this from experience.... if you dont breed for potency, it will go downhill so fast by 3 generations you might not like your highless cross... So put it in your top two. color is real pretty and has bag appeal but without potency knowone will be coming back for more meds...

And besides color has not a thing to do with a fine weed. If your a new-er breeder forget the whole color thing, strive for a good taste and high.

How is it running just a few plants can you select all those things on your list?

This is just a 1 to 5 listing of five traits seraphim asked about. Power isn't out of the equation at all. I will be breeding with whatever comes my way, if I like it, if not, I'll just not cross it and grow it out for bud if female and terminate if male.

Squid if your breeding autos you need to breed just about every female, at least a branch, as the best female is not going to be known till its in your lung. Odor, potency and yield these are all exponential in the last 2-3 weeks of flowering...

And the males... they also need to be selected there 50% of the genetics...very often over looked... you need to smoke them males.

Turn the males into hash squid its not bad at all. I smoked some male haze hash that made me trip balls

yes label everything, keep notes in a note book. and what your to proud to smoke your males? come on its just a bowl full, you pinch off the top of the male dry it and smoke it first thing in the morning... if it gets you high then he is a canidate...IME sometimes you have a hard time finding a male that gets you high. but when you do you can smile and know you breed with a boy with some potency and that is going the extra step that most wont do.
