Hey peeps, I hope someone can help me out. I just bought a new grow tent, it is 5' x 5' x 6'5 feet. I don't remember the formula to figure out how much area there is. I need to buy a new inline fan and carbon filter and want to make sure I get one big enough to handle it.

Thanks Automan2. Is the formula W x L x H ? I guess the 440 cfm fan I'm looking at might be over kill. What do you peeps think?

IMPO 6" would work but I would go 8" hyperfans (or other quality fan) with the included speed controller you can run it at a low speed and move the amount of air you want much quieter than working a 6" or humping a 4 inch to move the same volume.

Correct on formula. As long as you have a speed control, that fan will be fine. I suggest an inkbird type control. After I put an inkbird temp control on my fans, I've become a couch potato cause my tent runs itself with very little care.
