Indoor SPZ's Ultimate vs. Gorilla Showdown

All you can do is try. I wanted to see if those seeds could take over your tent. Thank goodness you have the GG

Well they didn't take over the tent but it looks like I'm going to get a decent harvest off of the Ultimates!!! :woohoo1: I cut down Ultimate 2 yesterday and while she was small, she was one thick mass of bud all the way through! It was hard chopping her up and separating the buds she was so tight!

Last pic pre-harvest! She was looking a bit shabby before the flush, now her fan leaves are drying out and dying.

Holding her up with one hand

Broken up into her buds and fan leaves removed. These are thick dense buds. The bright yellow-green parts were the inner parts that were not exposed to light. They seem to have even more trichomes than the outer parts!

I'm doing the paper bag method to dry them because most of the buds don't have much of a stem to hang them up with. They are very moist and dense, I'm surprised I didn't get any mold, fingers crossed they cure up nice. I'll post the weight and smoke report once they've dried. Ultimate 1 is getting the chop today or tomorrow! :smoking:

Looking like there will be some nice smoke coming your way. The A/U 1 is dense and will be a killer for you. It sorta looks like my RQ The One. DENSE SO DENSE.

Day 75

Harvested Ultimate 1 Monday! All things considered she looks pretty good!

Last couple pics of her in the tent. She reached 18" tall and 16" around.

Not a ton of amber trichs but her leaves are turning yellow and brittle so I think she's ready. Last time I let one go too long and the smoke was not as good so trying to avoid that this time around

Here she is hanging up to dry. I've cut up the branches and removed the fan leaves, nice haul!

Here are some close ups of the buds. You can really see the frost with the flash!

Postmortem of what was going on inside the autopot. You can see the roots really build up in the bottom feed zone. Had early problems and the roots are not as good as my last grow so I think that's why these girls aren't bigger than they are.

If you are wondering, I'm out by my compost pile in those last pics. There is an inch of snow on top of an inch of solid ice, microspikes are required.

Day 76

Update on the Gorilla. She now has the tent to herself and is basking in the glow of six autocobs.

Buds are finally started to fatten up.

The power went out today for seemingly no reason. Lights out and the temps dropped to 59F over the course of a couple hours. She's a big girl she can handle it.

Love the spikes. Never knew they existed. I need to get out of this mild/sunny climate.

Nice haul. I'd say 2.9 oz is my guess. Great looking trichomes on her. You are in for a treat.

that GG is a killer. Damn that looks nice and big and fat. Always here and happy to look at your pics. I'm about three weeks away from starting my next one. What will you grow for your new one?
