That is a beautiful thing.

Yep still removing a few leaves every day or two from the higher tops trying to get light to them all, not sure if this is a great idea as the main cola has barely any fans at the top but figured i would give it a try as there are plenty enough leaves in other places to make up for it, and who knows maybe getting more light into the main without that fan will bulk it up more, it was your posts that inspired me to experiment a bit more and when this fluke mutation come across could not resist.

Day 35

Orange Alien is all done with vertical growth and has maxed out a outstandingly stunted 11.5cm (4.5"), she is starting to put out some nice frost on the leaves coming from the limited (6) bud sites including the bigger fans. Have upped the bloom feed and started adding PK boost, feed twice a day which will be diet for the coming week. Yield is going to be poor due to the stunting after removing her head, but what is there looks nice and frosty so far and will be finishing quicker than the Deep Blue C at anywhere between Days 50-60, which is going to come in useful as my stash is getting low and she is going to keep me in bud till the big girl is ready.

Deep Blue C is just starting to slow in vertical growth with only just over 0.5cm (0.2") in the past 24hrs, will be keeping a eye on the growth over the next couple of days but if she carries on at this rate will be introducing bloom at the next feed and changing the CFL bulb, looks like @Duckster called it right early and she is going to be a bit shorter than the last girl at only 27cm(10.6"), but a lot more bushy at 35cm(13.8") wide at the biggest point with way less stacked but lots more tops and bud sites.

Just been giving Deep Blue C one last big haircut before she slips into flower, just took a birdseye view and any leaf that was blocking a branch with bud on had to go, ended up about 20-25 leaves being removed and has opened here up nicely, she still got more than enough as she is a real bushy thing, so will have to see how that goes in the next update.

Found this variegated leaf while trimming away that i thought was kind of cool.

Here is the top view after her haircut, and a few close ups of the biggest top i reckon looking at them a couple more days is just about spot on for starting bloom feeds.

Usually measure the girls the whole way through pre flower and as soon as i see vertical growth slowing a couple more days and start bloom, also notice about the same time you can see small buds forming in the bigger pre flowers and frost on the first leaves around the buds also, these are just observations though and base when to switch on the vertical growth only.

Thanks mate has always worked ok for me and always was something that kept bothering me my first couple of auto grows, been checking those little budlets again this morning and they getting a lil more frosty and starting to take shape, so will be changing out the bulb for the 2700k and adding a couple of ml of bloom to her standard feed tomorrow, before backing of the grow a bit adding more bloom and pk boost the following week.
