I decided to make a journal and come hang out with the newer growers for a bit.
I have three plants started. All three at different stages. I don't count days so it's hard to say how old the oldest one is right now. The oldest happens to be my last Mephisto Blue Toof seed. My guess is that its about 3-4 weeks old. Next is a fem auto cross I made with Mephs Sour Stomper crossed to Sweet Seeds Devil Cream. I'd say she's about 2 weeks old. Lastly is Night Owl Seeds Tyrone and Sour.. Which is Tyrone Stomper crossed to Sour Stomper. She's just breaking her shell.
All three are in 2.2 gal autopots. The older two have airdomes, the T&S will not.. The older two are already on the res and airdomes are on. Im growing in a 4x2x5 tent with a 315w cmh, using a 3100k bulb. I'm experimenting with a new soil (VermiFire) so there may be a few hiccups.. But that's how we learn right. I grow organic, so there won't be any ph'ing or making gallons of feed. The res is half full with plain RO water with just some Aloe water added. If I need to, I'll top dress when called for.
I don't really have a game plan this grow (I usually do).. I think I'll take a cut of the Blue Toof and grow it out to show how autos work with cloning. I know a few other people are planing to do the same thing soon, so this will be another example. If anything. I plan to grow for yield I guess. Even though I know that yield is mostly controlled by the plants genetics, I will try to maximize what I have to work with. Ill post pics when my lights come on in a couple of hours!
