Rice hulls are to rice what peanut shells are to peanuts. I haven't used rice but maybe you can. Don't get that instant stuff though, get something that will be less likely to easily absorb water. I gotta believe the instant rice will absorb water quicker than the regular dry rice.

If you can afford it, use neither, lol. Drink that spring water and run back up to wally world and get you some distilled water. Even the "spring water" gets buffers added to it to adjust the pH. You don't want to deal with those in your soil. The same with tap, it has calcium carbonate added to it. It will wreak havoc on your soil. So if you can't afford it use the tap or spring. Otherwise I would use distilled.

A cheap cooler, Brother, most quicky marts will have them. If you own an old cooler, it will be inside the walls

I haven't thought of drywall but that actually may work as well. I am not too sure what is in that stuff but it may work.

Most modern drywall isn't pure gypsum. Fire retardant chemicals, binders, all bad stuff, Brother.
Diaper material will most likely hold too much water and lead to root issues.
If you haven't already mixed, get creative and go to an all night grocery store. I dare you to not find Styrofoam.

i already did it before you said anything i fucking ripped that cooler open like a chip bag lol and stated going crazy on it, now i got all this shit on my floor in my kitchen, im useing a cheese grader but i find its making it really really fine is there a better way, also they use like contact cement is that ok or can i wash the shit after

Charcoal , balsa wood at a hobby shop/Lumber yard...pumice rock ofcourse and if you have a place that sells pro mix Im betting they'lll order you many of the exact products you'll require.especially once they know you'll be back again to buy more too.most places will work with ya too more often than not.and imho the best piece of advise ive ever gotten in my life about growing is calm down..relax..read...read a lil more..and then make sure you have a few proper things and dont slash the seeds untill your ready to grow them.we've all been there,splash beans WAAAY too early..lol

aquarium store..pet store and look for a few small bags of natural colored or plain air rock lol pumic rock.. that'll work too in a pinch.and inless you can get full on press board like sheet rock that dry wall will jack your soil up too.no contact cement either.unless you plan on making spirit gum work, which Id recommend although Im betting you dont have any lol.BUT that local wee hobby shop might have it or can get it.lol.
