you can trace heat plastic pipework though...why dont you do that, apart from the expense its spot on...we specify it on any cold water mains run externally here in the UK to stop freezing...think they can all be temperature controlled now as well..
pretty big. I dont remember exactly, I'd guess close to 30 inches high, but it got buried beneath its giant neighbor. Not gonna make the same mistake again.

yea i would love to do a mini hydro setup as ive never done it before but as ive never done hydro before i would be learning whilst growing so i bet it would be hard!
I've never done hydro, I like my dirt too much I finally found my little hose timer, I'll see what I can figure out today. I want to have a couple of beans soaking by this afternoon
I spend 3 hrs wrapping pipes with new heat tape yesterday in hopes that wpuld fix the problem but stillno water and a windchill advisory all day today. Boy 2018 has started on a super bad note ! I hope it gets better all this cold has me defiantly ready to relocate somewhere warm. We will be praying for water here again fingers crossed.
Best of luck, folks! I've had luck thawing pipes with a propane torch (even on pvc), but you need to go slow with it and also make sure you don't set the place on fire. Once the water starts, we's leave all sink cabinets open, and trickle water from both the hot and cold taps until the cold snap lifted.
