I spend 3 hrs wrapping pipes with new heat tape yesterday in hopes that wpuld fix the problem but stillno water and a windchill advisory all day today. Boy 2018 has started on a super bad note ! I hope it gets better all this cold has me defiantly ready to relocate somewhere warm. We will be praying for water here again fingers crossed.

thats why I love my better half..She can turn a wrench, and one hell of a welder..looking at her..you wouldnt guess .but, she cant cook worth a crap..and she knows it..so Iam the chef..lol

Hahaha. My ol lady has become a much better cook. Anymore she questions my value.

I believe I read somewhere, you can wrap a welding cable around a water pipe and heat it by induction. I would imagine it would only take a brief connection to heat the pipe. Worth a try if you have a spot where you could do this.
I've also seen copper and iron pips thawed by directly clamping welding cables to them. Caution advised though...
